Let's suppose then that crime novelists are rather large political contributors, in case a pardon is required.

In other news, my WRA M1 finally shipped and should be on the road all weekend, arriving Monday. Insh'Allah I can pick it up Tuesday. I have 280 rounds on clips just loaded up.

What should I shop next, an IHC or a H&R? I wanna collect the whole set . . . .
Off hand I'd say which ever shows up first at the right price.

Prices ain't right, but, I can swing it/them. That's what I did with this one. I'd like to try to find one as correct as possible, but spare parts are out there for changing out an op rod or a trigger housing/group. All of those guns were post-war so there were (almost) no variations. I may have to break down and buy the Authoritative Encyclopedia of Ping!

Because small weasels and other loathsome vermin have no idea what a determined man with a rifle is capable of, provided he knows how to use it.

Jack Hinson

“Hinson took up arms after his two sons, George (aged 22) and Jack (aged 17) were on a deer-hunting trip until they were executed by a Union patrol squad under the suspicion of being spies at Fort Donelson and participation in bushwhacker activity in the Autumn of 1862. The boys were tied to a tree and shot. Their corpses were dragged back to the town center and decapitated, their heads then placed on the gateposts of the plantation as a warning.”

“For the remainder of the war, Hinson used a 50 caliber Kentucky long rifle to conduct a personal war against the Union Army. He targeted Union soldiers at distances as great as a half mile on land and on military transports and gunboats on the Tennessee River and the Cumberland River. Hinson has been credited with as many as one hundred kills, although his rifle had only 36 notches although it has been suggested that the notches were for officers only.”

“Hinson himself evaded capture, despite elements of four Union regiments being assigned at different times to pursue him due to help from the locals and constant movement.”

He was never arrested for those civil war sniper deaths because it wouldn't been impossible to prove he did it.

I'll ask my gun smith if he wants to sell his IH but I wouldn't be holding my breath on that one.

I think that I can cut one out from the herd that's not too horrible. There's no hurry

It's not like I don't have a couple of these things already.

Thanks for the thought.

It's a short watch. Man makes a very valid point.

Interesting revisionist horseshit about "well regulated", but the jackoff does make a salient point about fatboy wannabees.
When the revolution comes, Wat Tyler won't live to see the sun rise on the second day.
Fat cosplay boys like Wat and AJ will be in the first wave of casualties.
Teh rules change when someone fires back at you Wat.
Don't care what level you are at in Call of Duy.

The rolly-pollies will have to retreat to their ranchette bunkers to reminisce about Hollywood images and Geico memes.

Federal Judge Blocks ATF Rule Expanding Definition of Gun Dealer

The Biden administration said the rule will close loopholes that have allowed gun sellers to avoid becoming licensed dealers.

A federal judge in Texas has blocked the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) from implementing its new rule, which critics say dramatically expands the agency’s enforcement scope by redefining who is a gun dealer.

In his opinion handed down June 11, U.S. District Judge Matthew Kacsmaryk for the Northern District of Texas said the enforcement of the new rule relies on “highly problematic” presumptions that will “trigger civil or criminal penalties for conduct deemed lawful just yesterday.”

The rule in question was unveiled in April as part of President Joe Biden’s effort to close what he called “loopholes” in the federal gun background check system. The president said those gaps have allowed sellers to avoid becoming federally licensed gun dealers while still selling guns at gun shows or on the internet.

Yet another big slap down of Biden's ATF regulatory overreach.

This won't stand.

Why is it so fucking hard for the libturds to drop the idea that there is this scary boogeyman of a Gun Show Loophole? There is no such thing.

They've never been to a show, they've never seen how many cops-n-feds are there, and they've never watched transactions take place, but they're consumed with all manner of expert expertery on the topic.

Hey Zeus, Maria and Yusef, you really have to work at it to be that fucking st000pid.

Didn't you say that about the bump stock rule? Tell me why it won't stand.
I didn't say that for the bump stock rule.

This ruling won't stand because it's about executive function. If gun control laws rely on understanding gin sales, the only way to do it is to make sure all gun sales are registered.

BS, no text, history, or tradition going back to 1791, to back that up. *(Bruen)
