That is such a loaded and biased question. The racist Democrats of today know how to play the game. They put up the front of opposing The monuments.... While at the same time protecting the open racist and klan members in their own ranks.... Because it's not about taking down some racist monument. It's about dividing people against each other according to skin color. It's about creating division by creating a false narrative of oppressor and oppressed when in reality in today's world, those issues have been addressed and if you work hard and you do the right thing, it may be hard. It may be long to do it, but you can actually succeed and it doesn't matter what your ethnicity is. But they train people to play the victim card and they point at those monuments and say see. They hate you. It is sickening and it is a old tactic that was used by the Communist socialist even in the days of the Communist manifesto when it was written. You divide people whether it be by Rich or poor or by ethnicity or religion or find something. You can divide them by and inflame that division and then stand back and watch it all blow up and then once the chaos is there step in and impose a socialist mindset. Enslave the people by inciting them to enslave themselves.

It is indeed the Democrats who are openly trying to divide this country and they're using skin color to do it. That is in fact one of the very basic definitions of racism.
Why aren't more blacks republicans?

It’s hard to take anything you say about history seriously when you don’t even know the name of the largest and oldest political party in America.
What the hell are you even talking about... Of parties that exist in the United States today the Democrat... Or technically the Democratic but there is nothing Democratic about it. They are tyrants who want to enslave people and become dictators over their lives. So that is not Democratic so I refuse to call it Democratic... Party has nothing to be proud of. It's that oldest party and that biggest party that is the source of slavery and murder and eugenics and poverty in every negative and ill that is happening in society today. So please do not tell me that I don't know my history. I simply understand there's nothing Democratic about that so-called Democratic party. Therefore, I call them a name that fits them.

The Republican party on the other hand, while not a party, I completely espouse, in fact, I don't trust many of them either cuz many of them are globalist, recognizes that we were never supposed to be a democracy. We were supposed to be a representative Republic... Ergo Republican.

So if we're going based solely on party name.... On the losing end of that too.

Why aren't more blacks republicans?
Actually up to the time of Jesse Jackson running for president, there were a lot of Republican blacks. Mlk Jr. Was a Republican. It was the Republicans who actually supported the original civil Rights bill that was designed to end the racist behavior within the institutions of the country. It was the Democrats that opposed it. Because of that, MLK and many blacks of his time were in fact Republicans.

Then Jesse Jackson ran for president and the Democrats knew while he wasn't going to win, they needed him to try to get the black vote. So they bought him out. Bribed that man and they paid that man off like crazy. Not so much in cash but in power. He used his influence to influence black pastors and those pastors influenced the community. That's why so many blacks are Democrats.

But look at the values they hold in that community for the most part. They oppose same-sex marriage. They at least in theory oppose abortion. They actually go to church. They actually believe in the right to bear arms. They may vote Democrat but their values as a community line up more with Republicans.

And there is right now a huge Exodus out of the Democrat party by many in the black because they are getting back to their history and they're starting to realize they've been lied to. That's why Donald Trump in both the elections got more of the black vote than any Republican Presidential candidate in history. It wasn't necessarily because of trump. It was because the black community is done with the Democrat party and more and more of them are starting to openly. Say it.

I read. I study. I don't just take the word of any biased source, be it on the left or the right. I go to people who are in the communities who are affected by those policies and I start paying attention to what they're saying both on the left and on the right and start finding out that there's a lot of information and history that's being ignored. So I go dig up that history and read it and study it. In other words, I research my positions. If you can't defend your position with fact and history then you have no basis on your opinion. You're still entitled... It just means you're a dumbass.

The Republican Party was founded by abolitionists, but it turned away from those lofty ideals in the 1960s when they began pandering to white racists. That’s why African Americans so strongly support the Democratic Party today.

That is yet another myth propagated by the Democrat party. What happened was that in the '80s... Not the '60s... Remember that Martin Luther King Jr was in fact a Republican and a lifelong Republican at that, as was most of his family. And that was pretty representative of the entire community as a whole.
But in the '80s a guy named Ronald Reagan came along. And for the first time you had a president who could expound and express conservatism in a way that educated people on it and was charming about it and won people over. Suddenly, you had Democrats who were sick of the liberalism of the Democrat party being convinced by Ronald Reagan and he won states that no Republican had ever won before. Democrats were convinced by common Sense policy to leave the Democrat party behind and go vote for a republican. Because they loved Reagan they stayed there. The Democrats don't want to acknowledge that that happened so instead they make up this myth about the switching of racism and all that Bull. The reality is that the Democrats never stopped being the party of racism. They just changed the language.

I'll take being called a dumbass as a compliment and let ALL your previous musings stand on their own.

I'm not saying you in particular are a dumbass. What I'm saying is that one who doesn't do their due diligence and research their positions is a dumbass. That was not a you directed specifically at you. It was a general you to those who just quote bumper stickers and party lines and don't do their homework.

Ronald Reagan won by adopting Richard Nixon’s “Southern Strategy” of appealing to white evangelical southerners who were angry over the Democratic Party supporting equal rights for African Americans. The white supremacist stranglehold on the Republican Party gained strength with the election of the nation’s first black President in 2008, and culminated in 2016 with the election of the overtly racist Donald Trump.

Everything you just said is nothing more than a liberal Democrat talking point. Ronald Reagan won because he was brilliant at expressing conservatism. He won California. No Republican ever wins California. Do not discount his power and influence as a conservative and expressing it well.

Conservatives never embrace white supremacy. In fact, it's the Democrat party that has had and continues to have registered members of the klu Klux Klan. And they protect those members from repercussions. Conservatives actually reject racism of any kind whether it come from the black side or the white side or the Asian side or the Hispanic side. We hate racism. We believe in individualism. We simply don't group people into superficial aspects like the color of their skin. Like the color of their skin

It's the Democrat party that groups people according to skin color.

And the idea that the opposition to Obama had to do with his skin color is absolutely idiotic. We conservatives opposed Clinton for the same reason that we opposed Obama. We don't like socialists and we don't like people who have policies that sell out our country.

Finally, while the left has tried to take statements out of context to try to make Trump look like a racist, the fact is that man has not been making racist statements. I watched the whole speech in Charlottesville. Before he said there were good people on both sides, he condemned racists on both sides, both on the BLM side and on the white supremacy side. He then said they were good people on both sides. People who simply wanted to preserve history honestly and didn't want to see the statues taken down, And there were people who were seriously concerned about how they felt about some of that history. That's what he was addressing when he said there were good people on both sides. I watched as he over and over and over again. Condemned the white supremacist movement and the moderators in the debates pretended he didn't and kept saying well. Why don't you?... And he had just done exactly that. I actually pay attention to what's actually said and watch the whole thing.

The Democrats still have klansmen in their ranks. The Democrats are the ones that keep getting caught in pictures where they are in blackface. It's the Democrats who keep getting caught making racist statements that they can't walk away from. And it was Bill Clinton who said of Obama in a conversation with Kennedy that in a better time Obama would have been serving them their coffee. So please stop with the bull crap that says the Republicans became the party of racism. We've always been the party of individualism. We don't categorize people by their skin colors and we don't consider their ethnicity the most important thing about them. That's not racist. That's recognizing humanity.

Truth is liberalism is where diversity goes to die. Because you don't allow diversity of thought or belief.

Once again, I'm not defensive nor am I indignant in the sense you're talking about, nor am I perpetually offended. What I am is researched. What I am is well read. What I am is one who does his homework before he forms his opinions. What I am is one who starts with the research and ends with the headlines. Not starts with a headlines then goes to do research to confirm the headlines that he likes. In other words, I am an informed American. You have proven by now that you at least do not behave as an informed American. I'm not going to assume that you aren't doing homework, but I am observing that you are behaving as one who doesn't do his homework.

No my friend, The Democrat party was built on the shoulders of racism. The Republican party is literally the party of anti-slavery and anti-racism. That is the actual history of the Republican party.

And if you would read. Thomas Sowell, because he is brilliant and elegant and eloquent about it, You would find out that the majority of the founders were actually abolitionists... The ones that weren't, were ones who had slaves from their parents and grandparents foisted onto them and they were in that world for the first time in world history wrestling with the idea that slavery was wrong. Slavery was a worldwide institution up to that point. They were trying to end slavery in a sane way. In fact, they were slowly releasing their slaves into parts of the north where they would not have issues or be hassled. Oh and those same founders didn't want any new slavery introduced into the mix cuz they were trying to end it in a slow way that wouldn't create chaos, And so they made laws in Virginia calling for the arrest of anybody who dared try selling slaves off of ships coming into Virginia. So before you assume you know history, you might want to study it.

You just handed me a bumper sticker. Bumper sticker thinking is idiotic. If you can espouse your entire belief in two sentences, you're a moron.
The "but they did it too" defense is weak. I would expect no less from a trumptard.

The foundation of America was built by African slave labour. It's facts, own it, Skippy.

There are no good white supremacists.

The Black Lives Matter movement began because of the outrageous racism experienced by black people from the police.

If the Republican Party were as committed to racial justice as you claim, they would have embraced BLM instead of opposing them.

Here's a couple direct quotes by the founders of the BLM movement that tell you exactly what they are about. Ready?

In a 2015 interview, Patrisse Cullors, a co-founder of Black Lives Matter (BLM), said that she and Garza "were trained Marxists". Cullors also cites Karl Marx, Vladimir Lenin, and Mao Zedong as "provid[ing] a new understanding around what our economies could look like."

There were good people who simply value history who were in that crowd.. there were many people like that... There were also many people on the other side who disagreed with them for honest reasons. That's what was being said and that was what was made clear if you listened to the entire speech. All you heard was the sound bite and then assumed the worst because you buy the media line that Trump is a racist.... Then of course you simply apply the trope instead of going for the fact.

Nevertheless the BLM movement was founded to address the unequal treatment of black people by the police.

It's always been the Democrats who have been the racist and the slave owners and the killers and the eugenics pushers. Always been the Democrats who have been the villains and the vile people who do this.

Not the Republicans.

Your whole premise is wrong. And if you hate America so much. You hate is founding and its premise. If you hate this country so badly that you have to sit there and twist facts to try to make them fit your narrative, then by all means go move to Canada... But I have Canadian friends that I talk to regularly who openly State they wish they could come to the United States because they can't even get basic medical treatment in Canada. So be careful what you wish for. Oh and Kevin Trudeau, your Canadian prime Minister was caught doing blackface. He's yet another racist liberal. Please don't try to project your racism as Democrats onto the Republicans. Black community is seeing right through it and that's why there's an exodus from the black to leave the Democrat party and vote Republican.

The BLM organization was founded in order to inflame racial tensions in order to create chaos in order to propagate socialism. The black community were tools to be used in the eyes of the BLM organization... And in the eyes of the BLM organization they still are just tools to be used. It's why there is many in the black community who when they see the BLM people coming tell them to get out.

Ask yourself if the blm organization is All about helping and restoring the black community.... Why is it the black communities and the businesses and the areas around the black communities that get burned down in the BLM riots?

It's not about addressing issues. It's about creating chaos to create social change towards socialism and toward values that they view as important.

You claimed that Donald Trump said there were “very good people” on the white supremacist side.
Reread what I said... I said Donald Trump said there were good people on both sides of the issue there. I expressly said that there were people that were defending the value of history and keeping The monuments up and then there were people on the other side of the issue that had honest objection or at least on his feelings about their objection. That's what I said. Donald Trump said. You saw what you wanted to see in what I said because you have a very twisted anti-trump bias that has colored everything you see when Trump is mentioned.

How old are you? Were you of age to vote in the 2008 election between Obama and McCain?
