Sasha felt her face get warmer and she smiled at Rex.
"Well, do you remember when I moved in? The moving truck was already there, and I pulled up in my car and jumped out, yelling at them. They were being to rough with some of the breakables and they were putting things in wrong rooms. I stopped mid sentance when I saw you mowing your lawn next door. You weren't wearing a shirt, and you just looked so hot. I didn't stop yelling because I was afraid the neighbours could hear, it was because you made me lose my concentration." She laughed, feeling the memory of that day begin to seep through her veins, wetting her underwear.
"That long, huh?" Rex leaned back into his seat. "I didn't look when you were yelling because I figured it wasn't my business.
"But I remember that night I was in my studio and looked out the window at your house wondering what you were like. I saw you through your bedroom window in only a towel and my tongue hit the floor. I stood there like a statue, in more ways than one, until you climbed into bed naked and turned out the light."
"So what now? We've spilled the beans to eachother, we've fucked our brains out, what do we do now? Does this mean that after this weekend everything goes back to normal?"
"No." Sasha spoke quickly and firmly. "No I don't. It's just that I'm not sure what to call it, or how to act. I love spending time with you, whether we're fucking or not. I've been mentally kicking myself since last night for not doing something about wanting you until now."
Rex reached out and put a hand over Sasha's. "It is a little confusing, isn't it. Last night was the best I'd slept in a long time simply because you were right next to me. It was... peaceful.
"We'll talk about it when we get home. For now, I took you out here to enjoy yourself. Now make with the happy."
Sasha couldn't help but laugh and she reached across the table and kissed Rex on the cheek. Soon their food was brought to the table, and the only thoughts that remained in Sasha's head were regarding the smells of the food in front of them.
Normally, Rex would be stuffing his face, but this time around, he restrained himself until Sasha had eaten her fill. "So, what did you think?" he asked once the last of the food was gone.
"If I feel hungry later, I'll take it out of you." He then winked and did an impersonation of Phil from the show Harvey Birdman. "Ha ha ha! Double entendre."
Rex nodded and left a tip. As they came outside again, he took Sasha's hand with a smile. "You want to look around a little more? Do some window shopping?"
Rex pulled her closer and put an arm around her waist. They walked aimlesly down the sidewalk, glancing in windows of restaurants and shops they passed. Rex pointed out a couple of nice bistros, a 50's styled diner, and a couple of little shops, one of which sold bizarre furniture that he had used to furnish his game room.
"Just walking," Rex answered. "Maybe we can find a couple places you'd like to check out later."
After circling a couple blocks, they came back to Rex's car. "It's still early yet. How about we go cruising for a while until we find something that hooks our interest, grab some dinner, and head back home for a night of sweaty, passionate sex?"
Rex cruised aimlessly around town for a while, going through the commercial district this way and that with no real goal in mind. When they stopped at a corner, he saw something that caught his eye. "Hey, an adult shop. Well, my curiosity is peaked. You?"
