Wat’s Carbon Water-N-Stuff Thread - Concepts In Iron And Wood!!!

They are always here for the culling, there is always gas in the generator and cans, and there is always a loaded weapon within reach.

It's not prepper living'. It's not politically-motivated. It's just country livin'.

Like the little electric chain saw that uses corn oil for the bar.
Bar oil is now costing $7 per quart. Does corn oil work OK?

It has to be a tiny chain to waste the time sharpening blades...

... I save them up and give them to the guy.

Then I buy a new chain/blade.

No doubt. I still think it's a waste of time. Trees fall here, fast and I only want to fuck with what is down.

If some guy in town wants to eek out a few shekels doing it, I'll drop off a few on the way to the box store for another cheap chain or two.

I carefully stepped over the rainbow stripes painted on the path I walked earlier today. One of the stripes is blue. Smurf blue.

I hope that DEI doesn't include Smurfs.

I blame them for rotting out Gen Y brains . . . .

It's a damned good thing my phone is smart enough to reset itself.

My microwave still blinks at me.

No. I can. It's a Can't.

We just lose power that often, just never long enough for the generator to kick in...

The power is rarely out for any length of time here (unlike Lit libturds where it is rarely on for any length of time) but it'll flicker just often enough to make me have to reset the stove clock. That and the alarm clock in the bedroom are the only 2 clocks in the house.

Except for the 8-day mantel clock which only seems to run for 6 days for some reason.

I haven't wound it recently.

I could get an electrician and solve that problem, but, it's not a big issue, in the scope of life.

Put myself right in the crosshairs with that one.

I should be shot!

You know me
and my Libertarian tendency

legalize it all and let Allah sort it out

stupid always is as stupid does and I don't need yo mama or yo yo yo baby ma to tell me that!

They haven't figured out a way to tax what you can grow in your back yard with a yield 20,000X greater than any food crop...

... 'cept maybe algae.

Yummy!
