Okay I admit it. I am a dreadful lurker. Mooo ha ha.

I have been reading the stories for a long time. Every now and then I would look at the boards.

I have been posting on the news and military boards for years now. But I am tired of kids pretending to be adults. And adults pretending to be kids. I am tired of people who think that their college education makes them the smartest asshole to walk the street. And what makes some asshole 16 year old boy think he can be a 24 year old woman on the boards and get away with it.

Any how. I have an addiction to reading and posting, better than watching TV by yourself. I am looking for a new place to lay my hat. The stories are good here. I have seen a few people here who look like they actually use their brains to think. There be morons here also.

I am 51. Old, retired military, diabled vet with the scars to prove that I have been there and did that. Working full time now, for just a wee bit. I'd give my left nut to go back in and kick some Taliban ass.

I don't like liars. I don't like fake people. I love women, older women. Have you ever really tried to hold a conversation with a 19 year old girl? Don't mean that all 19 year old girls are air heads, but they need to travel the road a bit longer. Generation gap I guess.

I don't have a lot of education. Not sitting in the classroom type. But life and the military taught me a hell of a lot. Gotta ex and three kids who have dropped of the face of the earth these last 15 years. Still trying to find them

So anyhow. Here I am. I will be in and out. Be gone most of November.

Welcome to the bb, this is a fun place most of the time.

I am an Air Force Brat, does that win me anything with you?

;)

Welcome, Johhny Reb!!
Enjoy the board, the stories, and trust your instincts when it comes to the people who post... Most of us are great people - only about 2% of the board population you have to look out for, and they usually go by the name "Unregistered".
In any event, welcome!! :D

Welcome! I'm sort of a disabled retired veteran type person myself. Um, beyond that, don't have much to say other than it's waaaay to early in the morning. I like looking at the other side of oh dark 30. Who knew the sun got up this early. And people actually not only move around, but seem to know what they're doing at the same time.

They also serve who pack and move. Shylady *I am an Air Force Brat, does that win me anything with you?* That does a lot with me. If'n I had my way you would be able to get the same bennies that Vets get. What parts of the world have you seen?

KillerMuffin, old habits die hard. I am always up early. Gotta lot to do before the sun comes up, well I used to. I haven't needed an alarm clock in years. I like the peace of the pre-dawn hours. Nobody fucks with you at 0400.

I thank you ladies for kindly dropping in and saying hello.

I thought I was being watched??

Now I know by whom. lol
Welcome to the show.

Well before my daddy retired I saw Texas,California, England and Mississippi.

I keep telling people I was in the Air Force for 15 years, they don't think my time counts.

:) That's so true! Which is why I prefer going to bed right before sun-up.

*sighs*

But not anymore. I'll be doing Algebra at 1030 for a while. College. Blech. Why can't they do it later than that?

The military made me a morning person and cured my punctuality issues, but two years out and that's only a fond memory.

My StudMuffin is a morning person. I'm going to kill him. :)

Mornings are evil and should be shot!

What? Is this roll call or something? LOL Hmm, maybe a little mil. icon?

Johhy Reb, hi. Is that supposed to be Johnny? If so, maybe Laurel can fix it for you. By the way, I'm a military spouse, aka nobody. :)

My mom never came close to finishing high school. I was born up in the hills of West Virginia.

Johhy = Joey

Now let me see, how many times have I had to explain that during my life? ;)

Now guess what my middle name is. The inital is 'R'.

5 more years and you could have retired. Yeah, it should count.

I saw a lot of people put up with a lot of shit. Sure messed my family up. Wife couldn't keep her pants on when I was out of town on duty.

Your messed up forever now.

If I am even thinking about being late I start to sweat.

Once you serve you never really stop. One of the great things about the military. Ever see the movie or read the book Starship Troopers? Good movie, great book. I really like the idea of only veterans being allowed to vote.
