In the very beginning, the warrior was promised gold to kidnap a princess.
I don't think it should be a princess, nor should it be known she was rich, in fact I would make her a young maiden who is air to a fortune (not royalty at all), but wants nothing to do with it, and desires to be treated like everyone else.

I would make the warrior an 11th Century murderous viking who is soothed by her beauty and changed forever.

It appears that you have taken the short description of the story idea a bit to literally. Like I said before, this was a summary of ideas. There will be an attraction well after the princess is kidnapped. This will be after a series of arguements on their journey where the princess tries to make her kidnapping as much of a pain in the ass as possible. Think of The Scorpion King when the Rock snatches up that hot asian and eventually they end up fucking after a series of conflicts between them. If that isn't enough think about Conan the Destroyer when that princess(a virgin) realizes she wants some of Conan's cock.

As far as a warrior killing bears for food. I merely used one animal as an example. If it makes you feel better I can elaborate by mentioning a variety of creatures that might be destroyed for sustenance. So make of this what you will but, this was just one of many ideas that are floating around my head.
