Warrior kidnaps princess.

Don't hold your breath, I may get around to it eventually.

It appears that you have taken the short description of the story idea a bit to literally. Like I said before, this was a summary of ideas. There will be an attraction well after the princess is kidnapped. This will be after a series of arguements on their journey where the princess tries to make her kidnapping as much of a pain in the ass as possible. Think of The Scorpion King when the Rock snatches up that hot asian and eventually they end up fucking after a series of conflicts between them. If that isn't enough think about Conan the Destroyer when that princess(a virgin) realizes she wants some of Conan's cock.

Hehehe, my first thoughts when reading this were along the lines of Shrek :D

Classic Beauty and the Beast theme, I recommend Robert E. Howards The Mucker, not a lot of sex, but a lot of sexual tension, it might give you some ideas.

Ok People...

I need some good names for characters.

The warrior.
The warrior's king.
- his sorcerer.
- his trusted aide.
- his general.
The princess.
- her horse.
The princess's father (also a king)
- his trusted aide.
- his general.
- his mistress.
An ancient dragon.
A gnome.
An orc Captain.
Three other orcs.

The warrior's king: King [James] Mallak (no copyright infringement intended)
Sorcerer: Vassard (no last name)
His trusted aid: Jimmy Jones (19 year old squire with pet rooster/cock)
The princess: Victoria Jones (18 year old half sister of squire, plays with kitten/pussy)
Her horse: Spirit (common horse name)
The princess' father: King [John] Jones (keeps donkey/ass in stable)
His general: Sir. James Black
His Mistress: Violet Swallows
An ancient Dragon: Kroyalis
A gnome: Dick (psychic advisory to Violet Swallows)
An orc captain ?

Well I think the Kings trusted aid needs to be a little older and wiser. With a medieval setting, the name Jones doesn't seem to fit.

The gnome won't even know the King John's Mistress. He's stuck in a cave in the mountains. Where did Jimmy' Student come from? Is there a Mallak or King James Mallak in another book/story somewhere? I don't want the copy write gods coming down on me.

I like some of the other names though.

You can steal some names from the Old Testament. That will give it a good old-fashioned feel, and it's in the public domain.

A medieval aid is called a squire.
A true squire begins his training at 15.
A student of a squire would stay in the village as a lookout, being about 12 years old.
Since the origin of Violet is not known (elf in human form), the gnome can know her.
I made up Jimmy's student just for the aids/AIDS joke (both AIDS play with king's ass), it also makes it more realistic if he was a lookout at the camp.

Sir. Mallak is The Sherif of Knotingham (and/or a Wizard in another movie).
Call the king King Jones (John was brother of King Richard in Robin Hood).

Yeah, I'm lost as well. I do have a name request though. Make the princess/warrior's name "Skye". That is the name of my last known love in real life. It would be nice to see her as a strong character.

The princess is now a warrior? What did I miss?

Too late. Outlined, chapter 1 half written. Just needing names now.

Done. The princess is named Princess Skye, Daughter of King um.....James the Fair and....

OK OK I won't give it away yet. Where the hell is Freddy when I need him?

I need some good names for characters. Gonna go old-school Conan meets Tolkien type stuff..

The warrior. - Kaarn - single syllable name
The warrior's king. - Wuldan ("an" second syllable - male f = "ele", denotes nobility) Reigar (title, "King")
- his sorcerer. - Bormorn ("orn" = denotes magical status)
- his trusted aide. - Maj
- his general. - Troh
The princess. - Xarele Reige
- her horse. - Soar
The princess's father (also a king)
- his trusted aide.
- his general.
- his mistress.
An ancient dragon. His real name is many syllables and long forgotten he is known as The Reigar Vicious, a source of great loss of face for the kings of the land - they want it's hide, competitively, having special properties and the owner of said hide will be the ultimate Reigar, being known by title only.

A gnome.
An orc Captain. Ghr'k
Three other orcs.[/QUOTE] Kkr'm, Qlk'n, Nhn'g

I think this is a bit confusing for the average reader.

I recognize some of these names from real movies.
The dragon's unknown name was also a plot point in a movie.

I made a small mistake, but I was close.
A squire starts his training at 14 not 15.

Snot bad at all. Gopher it!
Just so you know, it hasn't been decided if I can help work on this, but I'll keep your "ok" in mind.

Ok I'm actually trying to write an actual novel here. Something that goes beyond the usual stroke serial stuff you see here.

I'm thinking early Medieval period here. Names like White, Jones, Jimmy etc just don't fit. Names like Princess Rydia Skye of James the Fair do fit. Close family would call her Rydia. Addressed in court she would be called Princess Skye, Perhaps Lady Skye or even Her Majesty, the Princess Skye.

Of course, if someone else wants to go the opposite route and write a fantasy serial stroker, thats fine. Any sex, and there will be some, will get written last, after the plot, the character development and THE STORY.

Victoria Swallows? Please. I damn near spewed my scotch all over the screen.

If it's copyrighted, don't post the suggestion. This will be an original work with original characters and original plot.

I'm tired, ornery and should be in bed. Instead I'm sitting here working on this thing. The original poster had some really great ideas. I'm going with those. I am asking for suggestions on names. Names that fit, not goofy out of period, sexual connotation names. I like some names that babygrrl gave, a few that fantasy gave. I've got a couple of my own.

Don't make me do this to ya. :caning:

Actually it's Violet Swallows, and her psychic advisory is named Dick.
You do the math. ;)

Being on this site, I just assumed it was a pornographic tale set in medieval times.
I think it's refreshing that we should have some non porn here.

Victoria (innocent waif), Roslyn (barmaid/madam), Evelyn (bubbly farm hand), Elizabeth (posh hand maiden)
These are all names that could go well in your novel.

By the way, I meant Malic, not Mallak.

The character suggested was a king.
The character in Robin Hood was a knight.
I don't consider that copyright stealing.

Seriously, she should only have a few freckles on her face, not a whole bunch or all over her body like the chicken pox.
Seems you've got some ire over this.
My freckles are feeling maligned here.

Unrelated: I like when MJL is ornery. :D

Now that sounds interesting and worth exploring. :D

Unrelated: Did you write something a ways back about an older gent and younger woman? Tea something or other?

MJL

*Ahem* Going to tell you wife. *Ahem*

:p

The woman is the warrior came from me actually, well he said it first then I posted interest in it. I'll maybe get around to writing it eventually.

As it stands now I got a dilemna, I got 5 pages of the horror written and I got the male to female change story unstymied. So I am stuck on which to work on, I'm thinking just finish off the horror but well my mind likes to wander.

You being ornery was fun. I like when people admit they're not feeling chipper and are, really, just feeling sort of grumpy. It's endearing.

And, um, yup about the story. http://bestsmileys.com/blushing/1.gif
(By the way, I'm stunned and flattered to the heavens that you could remember a one-off like that.)

Emap, c'mere for a hug. *squeeze*

I never forget anything I write and almost nothing I read. Which by the way, is going to get emap in big trouble one of these days. *ahem*
