Atm... I'm so scared I'm falling asleep. Go ahead and rant me baby. Both of you can scream....I'm so doing some neck PT (physical training)...i.e.. head up head down...head up....head down..

(why am I fighting this?!? God i'm a nutcase...I should goto sleep.)

I agree with you Chey.

In our case we have had the same pharmacist for years.

And the advice and support we have been given has been exemplary.

In this rant?

bigrednz has had memory problems and other stuff going on.

The meds he has been on may be the cause and it can be fixed.

I use to be to timid to question a doctor when I was younger. That being coupled with he/she's the doctor so therefore, knows more than I do. I have since learned not so much. I know my body better. And as far as I'm concerned some of the side effects of the pills seem a lot more dangerous than the actual problem they are trying to cure! Got to wonder about that!

Do I have too?

*edited to remove spelling mistakes from my head hitting the keyboard*

You're absolutely right, Deb. I'm not sure what infuriates me more, doctors that don't provide their patients with the information they need, or people who don't question their doctors. Doctors are just people like the rest of us who have a lot more student loans. They make mistakes that people die from (unless a good nurse catches it ;) ).

Keep a close eye on that potassium deficiency thing-- it can most certainly be lethal, and it could also be causing the side-effect of your hubby's lethargy. A lot of side effects are related to each other.

If you're this worried/upset about BP medication, I hate to see how you'd react to psychiatric medicine in the US. Now THAT'S a clusterfuck.

Let's just take these drugs we don't know a damn thing about and give your brain a good stir, shall we? And if we don't like what they do, we can't just take you off them again, so we'll just put you on MORE medications we know NOTHING about! Yay!
