We seem to have fallen into a pattern of starting the day off in a very nice way. The only drawback is that the house is cold, and when I squeeze some KY out of the tube, it's too cold for her. I rub it around on my fingers for quite a while too, trying to make it just right. My question is, can I squeeze a dollop out and put it in the microwave for a few seconds? Don't want to burn her either. So how does a guy get KY just right? For some reason she prefers KY and doesn't want to switch lubes. It's fine with me, applying the stuff is rather fun :D

Let it float in a bowl of hot water would be my suggestion.

That would sort of defeat the "some quick way to heat it" that's implied by asking about micro-waving it.

Yes, you could probably micro-wave it. The only way to know for sure is to experiment to determine just exactly how long to set the time for.

A better suggestion would be to leave the tube on the heating register/radiator or some other place that would keep it warm until ready for use. If you've got an electric blanket, then storing the lube under the mattress at the foot where the blanket folds under would keep it warm. Keeping it on a heating pad that you can leave on low or turn on when you first wake up to heat during foreplay, is another thought.

If you keep it warm, then you don't have even the 30 second trip to the kitchen to warm it up to break the mood.

We do the hot water bit, but It gets runny when it gets hot so becarefull........

How about putting it under your pillow? It should stay about body heat tempurature all the time :)
