Because of some hormonal problems, my needs stimulation from a sex toy in order to reach orgasm, so normally I use one on her. This requires quite a bit of lubricant.

We use K-Y. Today she made the comment that she wishes there were hot jelly that I could put on her. She likes this because she likes the warmth of my mouth when I give her oral.

Is there any kind of lubricant that can be warmed up for this purpose?

Thanks,

I'm not sure about products that you heat up, but KY makes a lubricant that produces a warming effect, and there are lots of other brands of warming oils, lotions and lubes out there. You don't heat them up, but breathing on them or rubbing them will produce a warm sensation.

I haven't tried it, but I'd imagine you could put the tube of KY in a mug of body-temperature water to warm it up. Since it's water based, there shouldn't be a problem, especially if you keep the top out of the water. Buy a tube of cheap store-brand KY and do a little experiment. :)

DO NOT GET THE WARMING KY

... with that said. you can put some on your fingers and mush it around and your body heat will make it warm, and it'll leave the moment sexy instead of

doing stuff.
geting up to get the lube
leave room to mic it
have it be too hot etc...
go back to doing stuff ...

all you need is a little towel to wipe your hand on so it doesn't get all over the place :)

and SweetErika's mug of warm water is a great idea too

Those sound like good ideas.

Blue Sugar, what's wrong with the KY warming jelly? I think I noticed it in the store last time but I didn't give it a thought.

eek

I hated the KY warming, too. My ex bought it thinking it would be great. I found it sticky not slippery, and it totally made my ass burn in a bad way! I made him stop & got in the shower. UGH!

Everyone's different, your girl might like it, but go sparingingly and be cautious.

We got the KY brand warming jelly as a sample in the mail. Its warming effects were VERY brief and barely noticeable. We prefer KY over the astroglide or similar lubricants, but this particular version was in our opinion a turkey.

The idea of warming regular ky in warm water does work. It also works for toys. When you live in a cold climate like we do, you learn how to get things warm. :)

Heh... speaking of warming stuff. Don't want to buy edible body paints? Buy one of those plastic cans of cake icing. 45 seconds in the microwave turns it to a liquid that you can apply with a finger and lick off.

Ohhh- I may have to try that! I'm always skeptical of the body paint flavors - they seem likely to be grosser than gross, overly sweet, or icky & fruity.

Thanks for the tip!

My fiancee and I have used the trojan condoms with the warming stuff on them and we both agree that they are very uncomfortable. Anything with the warming stuff in it will begin to burn after a while unless you wash it off immediately. Same thing with the lubes, she needed to jump in the bath because it got so bad...just my $0.02

Then skip the body paint and go straight for real chocolate sauce, honey, or frosting...they taste better. :)

That is why. They are terrible. AVOID all lubes that do anything besides mositen. Wet is an awesome brand.

Ky was origionally used for a quick procedure in the dr office as a quick lube. It isn't a sex lubricant... it gets cloudy and gummy and you'll just have to reapply. I've found Wet in the blue bottle is damn awesome.

We like KY, but we've also found that the generic brand of KY (I think it's "Equate") dries up faster. So we stick with the name brand.

Just in case anyone is wondering.

Wow, I guess I'm in the minority here, but I love the KY Warming lube. I didn't find it uncomfortable or sticky. My SO said that he doesn't feel much warmth through the condom, but since it works for me, we still use it. I guess it depends on the person! I love it!!

warming sensation...

You were talking about oils and gels with a warming sensation, was wondering if anyone's ever put a dildo or something like that in microwave or warmed it up before usage. I've never done it but I was fantasizing about how delicious and hot a guy feel when he's inside and was curious if anyone had done it, or it could be done at all? (wonder if this goes under weird masturbation?)

A microwave works by moving water molecules and the friction from them moving is what causes the food to get hot. So unless the dildo would have water inside of it, I don't think it'd get hot. I think the safer idea would be to soak your dildo in a warm water bath. Easier to control the temperature too, you don't want any burns in that area.

Some dildos are made to be heated up...you can boil, freeze, and dishwash Pyrex ones for example. Before you go and destroy your favorite toy(s), it might be smart to get a toy that the manufacturer recommends heating.
