Warm and Fuzzy Stuffed Animal Thread/Poll

Contrary to popular belief, I don't have a teddy bear. I have 2 plushie Eeyores, (One of which I've had since before I was born.) and a plushie beagle with a puppy, and a non-plushie stuffed dinosaur of no discernible dino type. So I'm wondering how many of us have plushies or bears of some sort.

I have stuffed frogs. People give them to me because they know I collect frog stuff. I've given up trying to count them all.

I used to have two rag dolls, but I gave them to my kids. I do have like three of four pillows, but that's more to prop my legs and arms so that my back doesn't hurt when I sleep.

I have a pile of pillows, but I also have a collection of stuffed animals, and as soon as we can break the puppy of eating them, I will be sleeping with at least one of them again.

Our puppy is a girl, and as long as she doens't eat any of the pieces (which we have found pretty much everything, no plastic eyes or noses unaccounted for) then it's ... ok. Disturbing, but ok. She plays with them, but well, she is a pitbull mutt - she plays rough. Eventually, after they are dead, she chews what's left into total oblivion.

I still have the beany stuffed frog that my sister made me when I was a kid.. Don't sleep with it or anything ...*shrug* But I tend to be randomly sentimental.

I'm a PYL with a single stuffed beastie, a teddy bear creatively named "Bear Bear." What can I say? It's a wonder I knew how to talk at all given the early age I supposedly got it at. It has a sentimental place on my pillows after I make my bed but gets placed on my dresser when I sleep.

I have lots and lots of teddies,polar bears,rabbits,monekys,dinos,black pantheras,elephants. Basically I have over 40 plush lil or not so lil somethings..Ohh and we can't forget bout Alf or Smurf...and yes..I sleep with a few of them..feel safer this way..but at the moment only take polar bear to bed with me as he's kinda big and jealous of other toys..

I have a soft floppy eared rabbit that goes to bed with me and a doggy called Crumble and a purple Care Bear too. I also have my Mom's old Teddy from when she was a child. Hers looks more played with and loved than mine but I guess that's cos she never had a tv.

I'm a subbie with lil stuffed critters. Of course having kids makes that easy to hide well unless you count the two nicely dressed rabbits in the livingroom that I won't let them touch. Wha?? They were handmade for me by my grandmother.

Oh and a cute little brown bear that is sitting here next to my monitor.

Well, I voted that Netz had some kind of furry but now I've got images of her shaking it in the face of a bound and tearful sub saying "Kiss the Bunny! Kiss the Bunny!!"

I have a plastic bin full of stuffed animals in the back seat of my car that I've been driving around with for a month trying to rememeber to take to the Salvation Army or some such. Before that they'd been in a yard size garbage bag for.....oh, about 12 years.


The only actual stuffed animal I have is a hand-made Pooh that I got at a Fiddlers' Convention when I was 3. I haven't slept with him in years but he sits on the dresser --- not stored away somewhere.

I also have a Dammit Doll that a friend made for me in High School. I don't recall the poem word for word but it ends:


So when your'e feeling angry
Just find a place to slam it
and as you whack its stuffing out
yell Dammit! Dammit! Dammit!

I'm telling you, I've whacked the shit out of that thing but never done any damage to it. They could use the specs on this thing to build bomb shelters.
