Wanting someone's feedback

Hi all, new to writing but have started a story but really want some general feedback on plot, storyline, spelling etc....
its not complete but have over 5000 words written so far...
anyone fancy taking a look see and commenting back if its worth continuing and maybe publishing on site??

Are you wanting feedback or editing? You can get feedback on the Story Feedback forum (if you're lucky or the story catches the interest of those passing by!), or you can queue up for some some serious nuts and bolts feedback at the Story Discussion Circle forum. But if you're wanting editing, you are at the right place.
