do you write with keyboard only?

demonstrate your flourish.

access to scanning is necessary

naughty and nice doodles are encouraged.
but, it is your scrawl that I am most interested in.
who will dare to analyze the slant and psyche here exposed?

Hmm, I can't really analyze that, sp. I somehow suspected you would write in all caps, though.

I have no scanner, so I'll have to describe my handwriting.

It's all in caps, but you can't tell. It looks like there was some sort of horrible accident involving ants.

My signature (widely laughed at by bank tellers) looks like normal writing that has fallen off a very tall building sidewise.

Now you shall see
that while I can write
my handscrawl at best
is a sorry sight.

I apologize to all
but
especially

karmadog.

I cannot show
I have no skill
Scanner neutered
Against my will
Perhaps descript
Will testify
On this topic
I cannot lie

Actually, Ange, I don't think that's such a bad drawing. You caught the angle of her neck very well.

Last post? I hope that's not true, sp. We need you around.

Thanks, but I thought I made her look particularly surly. Maybe I was thinking of you on an especially curmudgeonly day. :p

P.S. Bet you didn't know about my secret marriage to Lester Young either, lol. I was keeping it secret cause he's, well, dead.

dog

any persons last words,

"that's not what I meant, exactly"

I always write in pencil first.

It's my theory that as soon as I sit in front of a computer, my left brain kicks in as though I am at work and I write like an accountant.

The only way I can get my right brain in gear is to put pen or pencil to paper.

Here is a rough draft (one of my cleaner ones).

<sigh> I even scrawl like an accountant.

Kdog, I thought you were teasing us until I saw this picture, lol!

I'm almost ashamed of my dull scribbles - bent thought they be.....

this is only one page of notes and scribbles i made while working on prodigal of blue....i cant find the rest ,,,

trying again
*crossed eyes*
ps i know my spelling is attrousous i mean bad....

I think this is an interesting thread.

We've gotten a little peak at how some very good poets work. Scratched out words, misspellings, and all.

:D

Ange, you write exactly like my dad. Wanna meet me in the family room some time?

I take notes as thoughts, images, metaphors, etc. occur to me, but I do all my writing in Word. The spell checker and the basic thesaurus are a blessing. :D
