For the record, Byron did not die from age related causes, he was in his 50's.
He was definitely a rock musician, so sex and drugs and rock and roll were definitely his lifestyle until the last decade or so.

I think I will set up an age poll and we can see what the median age is.

I'm in my 50s and it does not feel like the new 30. I even spent 30 years in training!

ROCKnROLL!!!!

Party on Garth!

i wish i'd shared my news with byron - we kept things quiet for a while and i never got to tell him. :(

I almost unintentionally joined Byron today. I was thinking of him when it happened. I did not see white lights, him beckoning me, or anything but darkness descending and the realization that I was losing consciousness under water. I had time to throw my head backwards so I floated up. It was weird. I am okay, it was a bit unnerving, won't do that again. Acquired a cough and my ears feel a bit strange.

Oh, Noor. I've had so many times like that. When my mum died life was like a dream.

Thinking of you, honey. Xxx

Are you taking care of yourself? Sleeping? Eating well?

I heard of Byron's passing from a mutual friend. My condolences to you Noor, and to any others with whom he was close. He was a fixture here, and I always enjoyed his quirkiness. He stood out in this sea of similitude.

thanks guys :rose:

if anyone knows about the matchbox cars, can they pm me?

David Hasselhoff just issued a mandatory Water wings order for Noor for a minimum of 6 months.

"Sorry Noor, it's for your own good".

LOL! No more dumb moves, that is for sure. The lifeguard heckled me! I was a competitive swimmer for about 25 years and I guess my form still shows and she was like, "you can swim, what were you thinking?"
I was thinking about the sky, space, Byron, is there a heaven, what did he think, let's try a back somersault, cool, that worked perfectly, Byron, let's try a front one from standing position... Darkness...
I wasn't thinking fast head movement, low blood pressure, strong current, weak from illness and not eating or that I hadn't done a front somersault from standing in maybe 30 years!

Trying. Not succeeding all that well.

Please take good care of yourself. I don't think Byron would have wanted his legacy to include any harm to you through your grief.

I never got on with Byron, but he was an intelligent and principled man. I'm very sorry to hear about his passing. My condolences for your loss.

Thank you

Q you are right, and I will.

oh and after my water incident the first thing on the car radio was Meatloaf's Heaven can wait

I did it! I watched the last 2 episodes of 24 alone, without his running commentary during the clock breaks and my betting what would happen next.

I wish Byron could have seen how it ended. He loved the Chloe character.

Missed him horribly but the 24 part is now complete.
