Wakanda, we have a problem....

The ANC has Marxist roots
That is a lie.

A successor of the Cape Colony's Imbumba Yamanyama organisation, the ANC was founded as the South African Native National Congress in Bloemfontein on 8 January 1912, and was renamed the African National Congress in 1923. Pixley ka Isaka Seme, Sol Plaatje, John Dube, and Walter Rubusana founded the organisation, who, like much of the ANC's early membership, were from the conservative, educated, and religious professional classes of black South African society.[14][15] Although they would not take part, Xhosa chiefs would show huge support for the organisation; as a result, King Jongilizwe donated 50 cows to during its founding.[citation needed] Around 1920, in a partial shift away from its early focus on the "politics of petitioning",[16] the ANC developed a programme of passive resistance directed primarily at the expansion and entrenchment of pass laws.[15][17] When Josiah Gumede took over as ANC president in 1927, he advocated for a strategy of mass mobilisation and cooperation with the Communist Party, but was voted out of office in 1930 and replaced with the traditionalist Seme, whose leadership saw the ANC's influence wane.[14][16]
Yet they have no problem with supporting the elimination of all white people in South Africa.
That is another lie. You have no reason whatsoever to believe it.

In News That Will Shock You to the Core......Only Two out of 26 Gripen Fighters Airworthy in South African Forces:

Only Two out of 26 Gripen Fighters Airworthy in South African Forces: South Africa is one of a number of JAS 39 Gripen fighter jet operators, and a unique one at that because it's the only nation to have almost the entire Gripen fleet unflyable. Only 2/26 Gripens in service with the South African Air Force (SAAF) can take off, and it's only part of the broader issue: on paper, the country has as many as 330 combat aircraft but only six of them are actually operable. They have only three flyable Hawk trainers out of 24 they have in the Air Force. (What's the other one that can still fly? A Cessna?). Ahhhhh, it's helicopter. Scary stuff,

The picture is even more grim in the helicopter fleet. Only one among 39 existing Oryx helicopters (licensed version of Puma) can take off; 0/39 Rooivalk attack helicopters, and zero for all other rotorcraft, too.

Fascinating. Rghis was a country that was historically subject to an international arms embargo imposed against them for nefarious reasons, which meant that the SAAF was unable to procure modern fighter aircraft, and as a result went ahead and BUILT the Cheetah derivative of the IAI Kfir (The Cheetah was a major upgrade of the French-built Dassault Mirage III the SAAF already had). The Cheetah's were really good but the Gripen's replaced them. The South Africans also designed and built the Rooivalk, a highly advanced attack helicopter based in part of the AƩrospatiale SA 330 Puma which South Africa already had (as the Oryx). Denel sought to provide a rotorcraft that would be amongst, even potentially superior to, the best attack helicopters in the world.

What changed???????? From a country that could design and build leadimg-edge fighters and attack helicopters to one that can't even keep existing aircraft in the air and operable. Wakanda, we have a real problem.

Mind you, this is also a country where you could visit Cape Town (up until a few years ago) and fly any of three English Electric Lightnings, three BAe Buccaneers, and seven Hawker Hunters, so it's not like the skills to keep these aircraft flying aren't there. MInd you, this is also the country with a Navy which had a submarine commander washed off the sub and drowned a couple of years ago. And that's where the submarines don't run into the ocean floor.....As of 2024, none of the South African submarines are seaworthy. As of 2024, only one of the South African Navy's four frigates remain operational. Oh deary deary me. Whatever happened?

As for the Army......they couldn't run a party in a whorehouse....

You forgot to mention they can't keep the lights on either.

Furthering the discussion.

South Africa's long slow slide into 3rd world shit hole status started 30 years ago on the day the ANC came to power. It has nothing to do with race, it's all about ruling regime policy. You've seen it all before, in Venezuela, Cuba, Myanmar, wherever a regime comes to power that rewards their cronies without regard to competence.

It's not just the military and the power grid, it's the school system where individuals can buy teaching positions so you can imagine the quality of education the children are receiving (so much for future generations). They are also taking over the farms and portioning the land out to more cronies, which means starvation is on the way.

The ANC is neo-Communist and following good Socialist policies. Yeah buddy, that Socialist shit works real well.

AceRebelWat spews bullshit without any evidence. All the MAGAs have is pretense. šŸ˜†

South Africa is one of many nations keeping a poor imitation or veneer of democracy under influence of American imperial power..
In terms of political system alone, it's hard to see how they could do any better.

And what does American imperial power have to do with it?

I heard the situation described by someone who was there around 25 years ago: the South African government is modelled on Chicago machine politics. There is more downhill to go before it hits bottom, drops the last of the imported customs, and starts becoming more African.
And what would the country be like then?
