Twinkle waved her arms back and forth a bit, "No, no, no. I totally get what you mean. At that point we weren't really anything more than friends just yet and you wouldn't have been beholden to me at all. I don't think she really wanted to be tied down either. I just thought that you maybe weren't a fan of anything serious."

She smiled at him affectionately, "I'm not hurt, I was just a bit unsure. While I want to actually date you, I wouldn't mind having a casual relationship with you if that was what you wanted. I just don't want to allow myself to develop feelings for you if all we're doing is messing around."

The little fairy giggled at his last comment, "Please do."

He gave a little laugh for a moment at her way of trying to explain how she wanted their relationship to go. True, she could say she didn't want to develop feelings for him, but there was always a chance of that happening.

"Promises, promises."

He grinned for a moment before sliding his hand behind her head and pulling her into a kiss. He mmed as he deepened it for a few moments, his tongue dancing gently with hers. He soon released it as he heard the familiar grunting of a newly popped goblin nearby.

"I guess it's that time again. I shall let the fearless fairy lead this time."

She smiled widely, still feeling a bit shy, but the way he spoke with her made her feel much more comfortable about things. Twinkle probably didn't realize it yet, but she was already further down the path than she thought when it concerned feelings for her suave companion.

Her lips pressed against him softly for a moment before she felt him invite her lips to open and allow his tongue to meet hers. She did so gladly, moaning softly as she melted into him, moving her own tongue in time with his as they caressed each other.

When he withdrew, she almost wanted to take his face in her hands and kiss him again, but she restrained herself, simply letting her eyes linger on his lips for a few moments before tearing herself away and proclaiming, "Ah, yes! Twinkletoes, slayer of goblins. Let's do this!" The small woman hopped off of his lap and kicked off the ground, whizzing through the air and firing her pistols.

She was getting to be a pretty good shot, and hit her targets more than missed them at this point. The fairy whizzed around, able to hold herself in the air and dodge their little spears as she continued to fire and take out a bigger chunk of them this time. Her XP was filling up quite a bit as she went, items dropping every which-way. Twinkle wondered how they were going to take all the items back like this since they had no inventory space left.

He laughed for a moment proclamation of a title for herself as she leaped into action. She was quite the handful and seemed to have boundless energy. He moved after her, drawing his own swords.

He stepped in to help take the hits she missed, working quickly to take down the goblins. They were falling much faster this time around, with her getting to be more equal footing. He was also keeping an eye on the loot as it fell, wondering if she was watching out for new equipment to help her. He had made sure to grab the ribbon earlier, but nothing else was of interest to him.

"We really don't need to worry about equipment for you, unless something special drops. Most of this stuff is common level things."

However, it wasn't long before the chief dropped a new blue-ranked set of guns for her.

"Okee dokee, Nightblade." she called down as she aimed and shot a goblin that was trying to throw something at her. Soon, all the goblins lay dead once again, even the chief. She noticed that the item he dropped seemed to be a little more high-level, so she lighted onto the ground and went to investigate.

"It says these are blue-ranked. What are the typical rankings, if you don't mind me asking?" She equipped them, seeing that they were available for level 8 and above. Twinkletoes studied them and aimed, getting a feel for her new weapons. They were very sleek and looked really awesome to her, but she knew that the really wanted to look at stats more than the aesthetics of them.

He smiled watching her handle the new guns, chuckling. He moved to sit down in the throne once more as he spoke.

"There are five tiers of rarity ranking. White is common, green is uncommon, blue is rare, purple is super rare, and orange is legendary. Legendary stuff is confined to very special high level bosses and even then, they have to be assembled in a long quest line."

He smiled and patted his lap once more before holding up the Big Red Ribbon.

"I think this will look better on you than me."

“Oooh, okay. So it’s a really good item for my level, then.” She seemed very pleased at this, happy that she now had more damage output along with a couple additional bonuses.

“I don’t know... I think you could pull it off if you wanted to.” She giggled. The image of him in the big ribbon was so comical that she couldn’t stop grinning. The fairy went over to him and picked up the item, seeing if she could equip it. It was listed under “belts” so she was able to put it in her belt slot. She looked at it on herself and wondered if it went with her armor.

Shrugging, she floated up once again sit on his lap. “Whew! Four or five rounds to go. Where should we go after we’ve completed this area? Wanna try for one of the larger quest lines, or try finding another random quest?”

He laughed for a moment, poking her cheek softly.

"I think keeping you focused on one thing at a time will be a challenge. We were going to get the last of your quests here finished up, remember? And you should be able to get your professions, or very close to them by the time we get done here."

He hmmed for a moment before chuckling.

"I almost think I'll have to get a bell and tie it around your neck so it will remind you of the stuff you have to do. Maybe a leash as well to keep you from getting lost."

"Oh yeah, that stuff." she mumbled sheepishly, his finger poking her cheek. "Right, right. I'll try to be more focused. It's tough when there's so much to do, you know?" Twinkletoes grinned and gestured outward toward the world, as if the horizons were endless.

"A bell collar?" The little fairy thought about it for a moment. You know, I actually think I had a choker like that once. Drove my parents absolutely nuts. It looked a lot like the Big Red Ribbon and it tied in the back. As for a leash..." Her wings buzzed as she flew into the air and upside-down, slowly hovering in front of him with her hands holding up her skirt. "Are you sure you would want to try to tame me?"

She winked, her eyes twinkling with amusement.

He laughed for a moment at her sheepish answer.

"Well, the first area of an MMO is design to focus you until you get out of it. So I don't blame you there."

He did raise and eyebrow when she mentioned about having a choker with a bell on it before. That just served to add to his idea of what he had planned for her anyway. He did lean back in the throne for a moment, thinking about her question as she hovered upside down in front of him.

"Two words for you. Challenge accepted."

He grinned and leaned forward, capturing her mouth with his for a few moments before pulling away.

"Mm!" The sound was of surprised delight when he kissed her. Finding the feeling of being kissed upside-down to be an interesting one. She giggled as he pulled away, "I feel like spiderman right now. All we need now is some rain and a moody backstory."

She flipped right-side-up again and lighted onto the ground. "Well, you may find that a leash can pull one back, but also drag someone forward too." Twinkle saw a goblin spawn and whipped out her pistols, shooting it and one-shotting it in the head. She looked rather impressed with the pistol and continued to take down goblins as they spawned.

When the chief came, she took on a more active role, flying around him and shooting rapidly. The feeling of using her wings to whiz around the field was exhilarating; it felt like a roller coaster that she had complete control over.

He laughed for a moment at her comment, nodding and grinning.

"That's true, but it also depends on who is doing the dragging."

He decided to take a less active role in following her, letting her shoulder more of the fighting with her new guns. He was having fun watching her fly around and shot at the goblins, throwing her a health potion when she needed it.

When the next break came, he decided to rest in a different place this time. He had watched the patrols of the goblins, so he was able to pick one of the small wooden huts to enter where they won't aggro any of them immediately upon respawn. The inside of the one he chose was simple, a large bed of straw in the center of it and a small campfire near the door.

"Ahh."

He laid down on the bed for straw, strecthing out some.

Twinkletoes followed him in, panting with her hands on her hips as she looked around the little wooden hut. Her eyes found him stretched out on the straw and she smiled, liking the way he looked with his body relaxed and stretching. He looked very comfortable as he let out a contented noise.

She crouched near the fire, rubbing her hands together and warming them near the flames. It was such an odd thing, but the fire felt very realistic, seemingly hot enough to burn her if she were to touch it. For just a moment she was almost tempted before she remembered that it would be quite painful whether the damage was permanent or not.

Looking over at him, she blew a bit of hair out of her face and teased, "Careful, there. If you fall asleep and the goblins take me by surprise, you might end up being ravaged by female goblins. They wouldn't be able to resist ripping your clothes off and riding you till you have have nothing left. "

He laughed for a moment as he lifted his head up to look over at her.

"You make it sound like a bad way to go. Besides, I don't think it would be too far fetched to think you would refrain from joining them."

He winked playfully for a moment before shifting to lay on his side.

"I doubt we will get interrupted by any of the goblins in this hut. It's just out of their aggro range with the way our aggro radius works. At least I believe so. Don't quote me on that."

He grinned and reached out, giving her ass a playful smack.

She grinned, imagining a host of goblin women pinning him down as he struggled, licking his neck and ripping strips of his clothes off as they sought to expose and sample his body. “Ravish you with other women? I suppose we’ll never find out.” She chuckled looking back at the fire and rubbing her hands.

“Oo!” She gasped as he smacked her in her crouched position. She had to admit that her butt was ripe for the spanking with the way she was crouching, her ass sticking out toward him. “Well I hope you’re right. Otherwise, we’ll just have to fight our way out. I’m sure we’d be fine, I would take care of you, after all.” Twinkle winked at him and turned shuffling to him on her knees and sitting down next to him.

She expected the straw to be uncomfortable, but found it to be more soft than she had thought. It seemed to hold her ass firmly but gently as she looked at a spot on the ground and spaced out for a moment, thinking about Miyuri and whether she was permanently cold in the game.

He just laughed at her comment before she sat down on the straw beside him. He was silent for a few moments before he opened his character layout to check the status of his armor. He had taken a few hits, putting the durability of some of his pieces down to about 75 to 80 percent overall. He hmmed for a moment thinking that if his armor had taken such a low amount, hers was probably in a worse state. Afterall, she was wearing lower level armor.

"Hey, what does you armor status look like? I know you took of the damage for a bit the last couple go arounds. Depending on what it's at, we may have to get repairs, unless you want to just power through things."

He shifted over on his side to look up at her for a moment.

Twinkle toes looked over at his screen to see how he was accessing the information, doing the same on her own menu. Squinting, she found what she was looking for, “hmmm.... oh! There it is. It looks like I’m at 60 percent durability. That’s not too terribly bad, right?”

She shrugged, “I think I can power through. After all, now that I’m in the air, I feel like I can dodge most of the damage.” A smile lit her lips as she looked down to him, laying on his side.

He chuckled and nodded.

"I envy you, being able to fly out of the reach of the enemy. Well, you have what, an hour left on the boost? I think the profession quests shouldn't take us long, at least mine didn't when I did them. Even if you don't choose the other professions, their introduction quests give decent xp rewards for doing them."

He hmmed for a moment as he reached over and ran his fingers lazily along her beck.

"I know the firearms include pistols, rifles, some automatics, and big guns as well. You have to spec into them, but I think they are supposed to be worth doing. Which kind sounds like they suit you?"

“I know, right? And to think that I almost chose to be a cat.” She grinned, nodding at the rest of the information. She was so indecisive that it was tough for her to commit to two professions,
but having two professions would be better than agonizing over the decision and having nothing in the meantime. Being a blacksmith and enchanter would be very useful; she would even be able to to repair their armor eventually, which would save lots of coin.

The little fairy sighed as she felt his hand on her back. It felt good to simply feel his touch, even if it wasn’t sexual all the time.

“Can you imagine little old me flying through the air with a massive machine gun?” She laughed, wiping a tear from her eye. “Whew! I think pistols and an automatic seem cool. I’d have to get a feel for whether that’s really the gun to go with, though.”

He thought a moment about the image of her flying through the air with a weapon nearly as big as her and laughed. He shook his head for a moment and grinned.

"I think they made the weapons conform themselves to the user. Although it would be fun to watch you lug around something that big."

He lifted up and moved close to kissing her. Instead, he shifted at the last moment and licked his tongue along her cheek for a moment before pulling away.

"Yummy."

The fairy laughed again, “they might think I’m a dex fairy, but after lugging around a huge machine gun, I would be able to punch someone so hard they would wake up in their real body with a black eye and the fear of god.”

Twinkletoes had been closing her eyes and leaning in for the kiss before he shifted and licked her instead, his wet tongue sliding over her skin. “You tease!” She pouted playfully, giving him a light tap on the arm. His tongue made her body tingle a little, still a little unused to being so close to a man. She wondered if she would ever be able to withstand his flirting without feeling like she was going to overheat or soak her panties with arousal.

He laughed at the hit on the arm and grinned.

"Me? A tease? Surely you jest. I couldn't tease if my life depended on it."

He continued to grin despite himself. He chuckled for a moment before laying back down on the straw.

"I think I should let you go out and try taking them on yourself this time. Just call me if you need me."

He winked playfully before closing his eyes as if he was going to sleep.

“Noooo, come oooon, Nightblade. This isn’t the time for leisure.” She groaned, her eyes looking upon him playfully. Twinkletoes shifted back onto her knees and straddled him, sitting gently near his hips at the bottom of his abs, her round butt pushing into him. Her hands went to his shirt and she grabbed two fistfuls of fabric.

“Nightblaaaaade...” she started moving her hips side to side to jostle him a little as her breasts jiggled from her movement. Her face pouted just a bit from his resistance. In truth, she loved his playfulness and thought his sense of humor was irresistible. Even though it was fake, his sleeping face was really cute, making her want to kiss him as she tried to get him on his feet.

He did grunt a little when she sat on him, as if to make out that she was heavy. Of course, he was just playing that up as well. He tried not to break a grin as she tried to 'wake' him, though he did find it amusing.

He notched it up a bit, fake-snoring for a few moments despite her attempts. Just when he couldn't play it up any more, he opened his eyes. He reached up and placed his hands gently on the sides of her face before pulling her down into a kiss, deepening it as he tongue invaded her mouth and brushed over hers.

It was soon obvious they had missed the start of the repop, the sounds of the goblins moving about the hut without noticing them yet.

She giggled when he started to snore, obviously milking his fun for all it was worth. As his eyes opened, their gazes locked, both of their expressions ones of amusement. She thought he was going to simply caress her face until she felt the pull of his hands to bring her face to his so he could kiss her.

“Mm...” she melted into the kiss as he deepened it, feeling his tongue push into her mouth and start to court hers with gentle caresses. Her hands let go of his shirt and started to rub up and down on his chest soothingly. It was almost as though the goblins outside were completely forgotten to her, consumed as she was by the sweetness of his mouth.
