My conscience can't get past the idea that it is cheating, hence unfair to other authors, (even though a lot of them probably do it themselves.) Why do I suddenly feel like I'm getting the shitty end of the stick here? I guess it's really true that nice guys finish last.
I suppose I can accept the idea of someone doing it one time for each story, but I don't suspect it ends there.

At the same time, an author with a persistant troll may feel justified in dropping a five on a story that is getting a repreat troll vote, rather than constantly asking it be removed.
For me, it's a rareity. I won't say never, because things do come up, lik eneeding anothr vote to qualify for a contest etc. where I might feel the temptation to stongly to say no![]()
