Okay, that's not the best subject name, but it did get your attention. Besides, I couldn't think of anything cleverer just now.
There's a thread cooking elsewhere regarding "Paying for Sex." After reading some of the posts -- particularly Emerald getting put up for bids -- it got my warped mind reminiscing.
My DW and I both enjoy sex, but not necessarily the same things at the same time (sound familiar, anyone?). Since I'd already written a few erotic computer games, I created one for that situation. Each person could create menu items for their favors, and we'd buy and sell to and from each other as the urges hit. It almost became an exercise in economics: how many back rubs must one provide for some oral satisfaction, how much can one raise their "price" before the market dries up (no pun intended), and so on. Just trading the same "virtual dollars" back and forth. Oh, and there was a 50% premium for "rush" service. In other words, for 50% extra, instead of later that day, the seller had to drop everything -- including his or her pants -- and "deliver" right then.
Despite our approach, it isn't something that requires a computer program: a pen, legal pad, and some Monopoly money would work almost as well. Has anyone else played this sort of game with their spouse, friend, local football team, or whatever? Is it still going? Anything that would be fascinating to the group? And, in general, how do you folks add more fun and games to your fun and games?
Okay, enough questions. Now, the question for me is: do I hang out on this Board a while longer, or log off and heck out the meat market (I've earned a bunch of credits for scrubbing backs in the tubs)?
