i think so, but i'm probably biased. i've known a few virgins in my time, and i've really wanted to fuck them all. reading about virgins kinda sorta lets me think about them more accurately (i've never had a girl give her virginity to me, so i don't know what it's like first-hand)

In the context of erotic fiction, the 'losing virginity' stories tend to be a lot more emotionally charged and deeper than the standard slut fare, hence are significantly more erotic for me. Of course many stories exist which are emotional, deep and erotic without virgins as well...

In this day and age, although there still are men and women who maintain their virginity into their 18 birthday and beyond, it's usually because they are "saving" themselves for marriage, or at least someone very special, by that time. Let's face it, we live in a very promiscuous age and allow our mainstream media to encourage it as well, so by 14, 15 and 16 years old the young men and women in our culture are very sexually aware and, for the most part, have certainly had their opportunities to lose it already.

The notion of a "hot-to-trot" virgin of legal age just isn't very believable to me and besides, if I were to read a story of someone losing their virginity I would prefer that story to be on the softer, romantic side rather than on the lewd side... maybe I'm just a romantic after all ;Þ
