Bit of a mixed bag at the moment, but the class I should be studying right now is Air Conditioning I. I already have a degree in IT/Networking, and I was flipping through the college catalog. It sounded interesting, and I thought, "Sure, why not. I can handle some more night class." and signed up.

I'm also taking Java programming, Electricity II (prereq for the A/C classes) and U.S. History I.

They say it will make me a well-rounded person...

Yes, ma'am! I hope you can understand why I'm looking for distraction at this point..

The a/c stuff IS interesting, don't get me wrong. I just have this part of my brain that insists on being stubborn when I absolutely MUST do something. So I'll put it off till the last minute.

Someone needs to teach me to behave!

We just had high winds where I live..oh & rain...not as much as they thought...but enough of everything for me to be glad I was here & not where you were...

Thats okay..I went back to bed for awhile....

I had no real damage...Although the Fire Dept made my whole street leave..trees going down everywhere...Didn't go to a shelter as most did..I went to a hotel..was afraid my snoring might keep someone awake
Just a bunch of mess in my yard...like almost everywhere...

Made it through the storm. Power was only out for a couple of hours. The HUGE tree in front of my house managed to stay up...unfortunately it does look like it shed everywhere in my front yard. I am glad everyone came out ok.
