What is the exact definition of a "virgin" ? Is it still considered "losing your virginity" after, for example, you just "put it in" for a minute, or have anal sex ?

I would guess the technical definition would be any act of vaginal penetration. Im want to say by a penis..i dont really count tongues or objects or anything else, but that's just me.

When you say vaginal penetration by penis, do you mean for any length of time, or going at it until one, or both, of you have orgasms ? Anyone else ?

Stop worrying about the technicalities and just enjoy yourself! Sheesh!

Fill us in rookie..........What is the rest of the story?

From the female perspective, losing one's virginity is equal to the rupturing of the hymen via sexual penetration. In the case of an earlier breach of the maidenhead (gymnastics, bicycle accidents, other sundry cliches), I would presume the loss of "virginity" coincides with the first act of vaginal intercourse.

From the male perspective, virginity ends the first time a guy gets laid.

Sorry if this sounds cold and mechanical. These are the facts. However, I feel the 'first time' taboo is best enjoyed 1} without a religious adherence to technicalities and 2} with a generous embrace of context and storytelling. In other words, let your creative sensuality flow.

Modern and physical interpretation...

For men:
Losing virginity for men means the first time they have entered a vaginal opening or anal opening. This is regardless of consent or partner--assuming that the partner is human. Also, I am assuming the physical body parts invovled are flesh and blood.

For women:
Losing virginity for women means the first time they bleed when they are entered in the vaginal opening or the first time they are entered in the anal opening. ( for women what ever makes them bleed I guess is the "virgin taker"...)

does that help..:)

THE SURVEY SAYS...

the definition 2 a female losing virginity. is vaginal penetration by a penis. an vice versa fo tha men.

There's more.

How about homosexual viginity?

I think there are many kinds of virgins.

From the girl who hasn't had intercourse, but has given blow jobs to the homoerotic male who will never have vaginal intercouse to the 'straight' girl who gets wet watching her girlfriends get dressed.

I believe the experience or lack, thereof, makes one a virgin or not.
