Oh where, oh where can my Prince Charming be? I have searched far and wide, and still have not located my knight in shining armor. I believe that there is someone for everyone. I have never been in love, never received flowers from a man, and am hoping to find that someone special soon. Has anyone seen my Prince? This damsel in distress needs your help!

Help on the way

Maybe help is closer than you think. Send me some clues and I'll see if I can find you. I'm starting in New Haven. Am I on foot, or in my car? Which direction, what speed? Do you like slow and steady, or a race to the finish? Tell me about your Prince Charming. Is he tall, short, blond or bald, athletic or more refined. What does he like? What do you like? What is he rescuing you from? What do you want to happen when he finds you? Will you let him find you? I look forward to your clues so I can begin my guest. Paradise waits.

hey,darling

how about a love letter and flowers.cuddle and watch the sunset as we make love all night long darling.
e-mail me if you are interested.im 27 by the way and sweet as can be.

Out of the gate

I have been waiting for you for so long my heart is ragged. The time has passed slowly and I think often that you will be gone forever. To get your letter has lifted my soul and I can be patient again with you in mind. Now I can begin to find you, to dream peacefully at night, and survive the long winter to come. A night by the fire with you, is almost more than I can hope for. Your sweet caresses so long gone from my memory, but still they survive. I will wait for you always. But, do not make the wait forever. I can taste you, feel you, smell your sweet aroma as if I only saw you last night. Our last walk along the beach, with the waves gently smoothing the sand under our feet fills my memory with the longing for you again. While my mind is still aglow, tell me how to find you. Tell me your favorite flowers and I will bring them to you. We'll put them in a beautiful vase and then.....

Oh me tooooo!

I seach for my Knight (Prince Charming in armour)

It has been a long road, time flies, and still no knight

Maybe he exists somewhere?

This lil dragon resides in Australia

<Growls>

Ah well, maybe a knight will read this missive.......

I agree there is someone for everyone sueann (haven't found him myself yet either) but the thing about the shining armour, my humble opinion, is that sometimes the knights are all tuckered out looking for their own damsels too, and the armour can get a bit tacky, even rusty lol so we've got to be ready to put a little spit and polish on those suits at times, to see the long awaited result. Don't despair, he's around, not always brandishing a sword, but ready, willing and able nonetheless :) and some "clues" won't hurt as paolo suggests.
(hope you knights are reading!)
good luck to you too Dragonette, cute Av!

Armour fixer

I have a can opener!

One thing about knights of olde, they had to be strong to carry all that weight, and they were taught to be chivalrous!

Chivalry and valour, lovely combination

<growls happily>

Knight

Sadly you are to far away and a bit young for this dame

But keep up the good fight Knight!

:)

Mission Possible

Sir Knight

In your quest for that damsel
This humble maiden wishes you well
Oh to be her
On whom such pleasure you do confer
Tis but a dream I hold
Fading fast as a marigold

To my rescue

Sweet rapture! After traveling far and wide this weekend, I return home to discover a correspondence from my Prince. My heart pounded like the hooves of a horse running over the hills, my spirit soared like the falcon hunting it's prey. Not a night goes by that you are not in my dreams, sitting astride your magnificent black stallion, riding towards my castle to rescue me from my lonely heart. Do not give up hope, for all journeys eventually reach their destination, and I await at the end of yours.

For love is a smoke raised with the fume of sighs;
Being purged, a fire sparkling in lovers' eyes;
Being vex'd, a sea nourish'd with lovers' tears:
What is it else? a madness most discreet,
A choking gall and a preserving sweet.

help on the way

Dearest princess of my imaginations desire, you rekindle my fire with news of your well-being. Your message like cool sweet wine on my parched lips refreshes me and fills me with hope. So knowing are your words, reaching my depths, I am without their equal for so literate I am afraid I am not. I am as resolute, passionate and dedicated as any; I will go to any lengths to slay the dragon that doeth keep you clothed in misery. Fear not that you will trapped long beneath the hard weight of such, for I will find a way to set you free if you are but patient for me and send me good news of your sweet desires. My horse may appear to the untrained eye just a bit less than the stead you may expect, but his heart is strong, his cunning unmatched, his abilities a match for even a dragon of evil intent. We shall arrive to the sound of trumpets and angels. And your knight will move you into the small hours with the love of a thousand years. Await not long princess of my heart.

My heart lies waiting...

I must have done some honorable deeds in my life to deserve such sweet words. I cannot express how I have been affected by your letters. Your words warm my heart, my soul, my spirit. I find myself dreaming of you, even when I am not sleeping. Worry not about the steed you ride on, for I do not sit in judgement of you. I shall look into your eyes, and embrace the essence that is your soul.

There is a place in my soul where your light shall always burn bright. I cast myself humbly at your feet, you who are so tender. My heart is in your hands.

Hand in hand

Arise darling princess for you have no cause to kneel before the likes of me. I am but a servant for your nobility, tenderness is but my calling card to one so sweet and in need. To enter such sacred ground with any more vigour would surely be foolhardy. I know not of your wounds and would vanquish the thoughtless persons who would tread so carelessly on your soul. Rest assured I will not do so, would not, upon pain of separation from your treasured missives. Your words fill my spirits, lifting me as the gentle afternoon breeze carries the fall leaves into the early night sky. I await each word from you as the rising sun each day, the changing moon each night. Send me word of your ways, of your needs and I will venture forth full of gifts and desire. Point me the way and I begin today, for my heart is full and I fear for your safety should the dragon go unslain for long. But beware the false knight should he arrive before me. There is evil in the world such as you should not need to know. Allow me the honor to serve you, most deserving of all God's creatures. My hands will cradle your tender heart and protect you from evil all of my days and all of our nights. Hand in hand we will travel until we reach the clearing at the end of the forest that ends our days.

I hope all is not lost

For three days and three nights, my heart has stopped beating, and I fear all may be lost. Have I somehow frightened him away? Have I said something to offend? Mayhap he has not received the letter I sent to him yesterday, and feels I have dismissed him. But how could I ever dismiss one who knows me better than I know myself, one who can see right into my very soul? I pray you shall send me word that all is well. I shall wait and hope for the best.

Do not be troubled my fair maiden, my thoughts have been with you all the while. My journey of recent days has been fraught with unsuspected trials, nothing more. I venture forward again today with your words to spur me onward, but my path is again filled with detours and adventures along my way to you. I will not forget your troubles and will continue my calling to reach your gates. I will keep you in my mind's eye and will send news of my progress whenever I can. Be patient my princess, for our time is soon at hand.

Simple songs

Sweet princess how my heart aches. Today, when you are further away, I was so near to you. My travels brought me within moments of your door, yet I knew you would not be there. The sorrow and regret are awash upon me as the waves upon sea in mid-storm. Can this be, can the cruelty of life be so great as to keep us apart even when so near. The calling of your tender, precious song fills my ears yet like a wisper I hear it only on the wind and strain to understand. Tell me all of your secrets and I will add them to the treasures I shall cherish for all eternity. I long for the days when I will but sit and listen to your sweet voice and the stories of your life. Soon, my tender one, soon.

Churls

Be there no one in Connecticut save braggarts and sappy fools? Nothing spews from thine lips but the putrid smell of waste. Be there no one of character in this foul state?

misfit indeed

A clash is certainly brewing upon this site! Such ignoble words as yours are a stain upon this treasured soil. Be gone. For you waste the time of those who chose to share the glories of times otherwise long gone. Fall on your own sword, false knight of evil deeds. Your words betray you, speaking as you do from the depths of your disgusting slim pit. Be vanquished into the sewer from which you were spawned.

Beware

Fine princess, a pox is upon this sacred ground. A misfit has bespoiled our precious solitude. Fear not, for such evil is not long for this world. I shall smite him as my forefathers did his. Should he prove a more than anticipated as an enemy, I shall continue to find you through other means and will destroy this now tainted site. Rest assured, I shall not abandon you. I dream of your return with even greater expectations than ever. I am forever your true knight.

Churl

Hah! Braggart! Truly you have some belief in your hand-to-hand ability. Alas, I am but a champion of swordplay whilst thou are but a fool. T'would be a shame to waste the shine of mine blade on your carcass. Yet, if need be, that shall be done. Have at you!

Good vs. Evil

What foul treachery doth take place in my absence. An invader arrives! I know not this newcomer, only that he seeks to overtake my realm. What shall be the fate of my brave knight? I could not bear it if he were struck down defending my honor. I would gladly set my life before his. Shall I rush to him and fight by his side? Or would my presence be a distraction, causing him to lose focus during battle? What shall our fate be? I pray that our bond is strong enough to sustain us through this struggle, and that we shall be together again. Fight bravely, my Prince! My heart shall be with you.

Take heart - good things come to those who wait (at least thats what they tell me)! I too am still seeking the "fairy tale". I think my knight in shinning armour must have fallen off his horse. Look at the bright side - you've gotten some really good responses. Good luck! ;)

Fools abound

The misfit continues despite his vanity. His quote, "Be there no one in Connecticut save braggarts and sappy fools? Nothing spews from thine lips but the putrid smell of waste. Be there no one of character in this foul state?"
And which of these words was meant for my fine princess then? Do you expect her to move with even the gentlest of breezes in a direction so foul as these words portray? A battle I shall not fear, for have at me you of such foolish ways. I rest with assuredness of my princesses faith in me. And to my dearest, I would fight with you at my side, or in my minds eye. No distraction are thee. Nor would I put you in harms way, but would be at your side if you would declare yourself to be there.
