What's really amusing is the tap dancing of folks like Zeb (and you from your posting behavior) to "prove" that it isn't targeting in the first place.

The real point here, though, is that this is all just one thread in the fabric of the rhetoric and images Palin has been using for two years. I don't believe she believes she's advocating murder, but she's using exactly the same tactics that those use to incite crazies to blow up abortion clinics and murder abortion doctors, and she has an audience and following that is just as dimwitted -- and if there's a remote chance she doesn't understand this, she most certainly doesn't have the brains to be anywhere close to the controls in this nation.

When I was a little Stella, I tended to drop my clothes on the floor and if left to my own devices a laundry pile would grow to alpine proportions. And then someone would have to yell at me to pick it up.

One day my mother said, as always; "STELLA! PICK up the dirty clothes!"

I said "How come you ALWAYS blame me? Maybe someone else left the clothes on the floor!"

She said; "You're right, I'm sorry. Do you know who left these clothes on the floor?" and I had to admit that... it was me...

Come on, assholes, you're always claiming you're smarter than I am. Man up. Stop making stupid rationalizations that little baby Stella would have tried to get away with.

Contrast that with the tens of thousands, albeit a minority, who applauded the killing of Pakistan's Governor of Kashmir by one of his bodyguards.

There may be violent language in US politics, but almost everyone abhors violent acts.

If you lived in the States, were able to sustain a thought, and weren't plugging an agenda, I think you'd have no trouble making the connections.
