Vintage 40 Prime THREE

Spring time is coming. It would be great if I could find a NSA playmate here in the Philadelphia area for regular mutual relief. Maybe it is time to start checking personal ads again.

did everyone survive Spring Break???

I've not done spring break since I was 35, and that was just a trip to Orlando for 3 days to check with other techies about creating an at-home computer programming "company.'

But the Busch Gardens' trip made up for it.

usually the snow birds get the flock out of here after Easter but they seem to be hanging longer this year

My experiences in FL were always good:
1981 Daytona 500
1982 indoor soccer and Busch Garadens
1983 Tampa, Clearwater and Busch Gardens with 3 coed roommates.

Back here on the east coast for a while. Crazy weather here. Centrally located so I may get to see friends in DC, cousins in Fredricksberg, or head down to Bragg to see the granddaughter.

I miss the spring breaks back in Havasu.. not that I participated any but the eye candy was yummy.

Hey all. Been a long time since I've looked in on this thread. I hope everyone is doing well. I'm just sitting here in my office at work while I have contractors working on encapsulating some asbestos flooring. I hope this will be my last Saturday working. Should be as I don't have much longer before I retire at the end of June. :D

After leaving the dentists office this morning I decided I should do the grocery shopping.

Upon getting back home and doing the refrigerator shuffle I found 4 Frozen Angus hamburgers that have remained frozen since May of 2013 in the freezer, needless to say they went in the garbage, freezer burnt.

So much for bachelorhood, I hate to do grocery shopping especially at a Walmart then there is the job of cleaning the refrigerator that I have not done in a while.

Getting stuck doing cooking and cleaning is a chore for the weary....kinda.

Just think positive...I could have been stuck in mess hall.

From marrying a woman who makes a list for what to do on vacations (Clipboard O'Fun *eye roll*) I learned to have the week's meals written out, as so to avoid such problems.

We still have Leftover/Fend For Yourself Thursdays, throwbacks to our early years of marriage and way further back to when we were kids and had not much.

I hope you have fun on your fishing trip :rose:
I know you'll rock being retired:D

...meanwhile snow season turns into rain season, I took the dog to the Vets. just to get hit with a $168.00 bill for the annual shots.

The lawn is turning green so that means mowing in 2 weeks, not to mention replacing lumber on the front porch.

Long time no post. Rainy here today after some very nice sunny and warm days. Winter wasn't too bad as not much snow but lot's of rain.

Since we're talking weather. Nice here in Maryland. Was out on a hike in the national forest here. Not sure which one, It's on the Susquehanna River. Still, I'd rather be back home in Texas. The new granddaughter is being baptized on Saturday, might make it down to see it, and the wife since she's going. Two more months and I'm done here. Time has flown, but it can't get done soon enough.
