Vintage 40 Prime THREE

Just 30 Min. of a downpour in the Mountains of Northern NY, the Temp. did drop to 44 Deg. F. by 5:00 AM.

We had ideal sleeping weather here overnight. It did get just a little too chilly just before dawn though. I missed having a nice warm naked body next to me in bed.

Nice picture Starry. Now join Sun Bunny and post over on the cleavage page! She's holding her own!!

Thank You :rose: I needed that this morning.

bad night. Turns out that 10 minutes of hacking back the hibiscus brush so the garbage truck guys wouldn't get slapped was what kicked my butt bad. My PTs both just shook their heads cause if I was normal then that was no big deal, because my shoulder & body aren't normal I messed up. It was the repeat motion up to pull down the light branches to snip.

Since I was already hurting I stopped on the way home & grabbed the 10 cases I water for Tuesday night's Honor Flight Welcome Home. So that's done. just need 2 bags of ice once Tuesday afternoon hits on the way to the airport. I have Friday flag wave, Saturday Honor Flight Training, Sunday drop off the support tables to a team member to get thru before Monday PT and Tuesday Honor Flight mission. Most of that driving will kick my butt.

Bummer! If you were going to get an injury from repeat motion then it should at least have been at something fun.

Satuday I was able to take a Nam Marine on Hospice out to lunch and on to his Honor Flight training. He was so shocked that anyone would buy him lunch. That was covered by 1 team member. Then because he let it slip that it had been so long since he was able to go eat out even for a simple burger... We stopped at Cracker Barrel on the way home knowing he'd have plenty of take out from both stops to eat really well the next couple days. That was on me but I am sure with my team someone will ask for the check to pay me back.

PLUS by the 2nd meal, he'd finally realized from all he'd seen at training that my team was a real deal. So when I asked how he was doing and what he was needing again I got some real hard answers. I was able to hook him up with the team member at the local national cemetery to set up some final wishes down the line. 2 of my other team members are taking him to stock up on groceries. He has no transportation & getting food home is hard on top the cancer & treatments even with Hospice giving him a counselor and home visits. Plus we're not going to judge if he wants some ice cream over veggies if that's what he's been craving. But knowing both team members his shelves & fridge will be stocked.

Hello Friends.....

Life has been hectic, stressful, on-going and fast paced. I can not remember the last time I posted anything. But, in case any one may have been wondering, I am alive and doing pretty well. I just wanted to let you know.

I do think of the people I know on here, often. I just don't have the time to be on line. I do hope that everyone is well and happy!

Miss all of you!

Last night was AMAZING!!! The Honor Flight Welcome Home went so smooth... the best EVER!!!
And my Sheriff's Deputies brought LEO friends. I never have ever seen this many cops in one area in my life.
They all tag teamed the event so that everything ran so smooth. AND the biggie...
That PGR Ride Captain who had been harassing me tried to come up front and approach me.
The guys told me if that happened to make sure I just got behind any of them near me.
and you better believe I did just that. That jerk didn't make any other attempt to mess with me last night.

Good to see you Blu. Sounds like RL is keeping you busy.
Starry, glad it worked out so well. I guess everybody knows that guy is a jerk.

They were watching for him to pull something last night. He had no business coming up there and they shut him down and out of there before he could try anything. I called over to the SO this morning to have them know how wonderful the guys were and how smooth everything went.
