Thanks to all of you who have stopped in today.
It's been a shitty day and i mean that quite literally. The sewer in my house backed up last night and our basement was flooded while we slept with crap filled water. The day was spent moving everything that we had in the basement outside and cleaning up as best as could be. The good news, we're covered by our insurance. The carpet is going to be ripped out, replace and repainted so at least i have that to look forward to.

Hello Vinde. Sorry to hear that you have had a crappy day (I didn't want to use the other word because it was probably floating in your basement).

And on a positive note, since the carpet is going to be replaced and the walls repainted, you won't have to do the work just get the area ready for the workers. And you get all new paint and carpet. I know I can shut up already.
Hope that tomorrow is a better day for you.

That definitely is a good thing except for the fact it's going to take 6-8 weeks (i think it will be more like 3-4 months). But it will be nice having it done.

I've found when things like that happen to me i'm more worried about it than most everyone else is. :D
and dammit now i'm hungry for seafood stuffed mushrooms.
