Vinde's place

That's what I'm not sure of. I think it's a case of the grass looking greener on the other side. But I have lived in bigger centers and I like those better, more opportunities for my kids and myself.

I came from NYC and I miss it a lot. Like to move back someday.

My inlaws are close to NYC and I would love to visit and to experience the big apple.

Maybe one day you will get an offer that will make you decide to make a move.... Maybe something to give you a little better idea of the where :)

I live in a capital city myself.... Of course the main problem here is that travel costs to anywhere else are insane.... Pretty much have to fly to the other side of the country to leave it..... Which is making planning a trip even more expensive....

I guess that no matter where you live, you will always wonder if it'd be better if you were somewhere else... But you shouldn't let that distract you from how great your current location might really be :rose:

I rant alot....

I hope you do. It may be a shock though. Lots of people. I keep forgetting how much until I get back there. Streets are dirty (but better now). But there's so much to see and do. I love walking the streets and just experiencing the different people and different neighborhoods.

I only know of Manhattan, from my three visits.
Have to say the streets there are wonderfully clean, also, how safe we felt walking around, even at night
I  NYC

Glad you do. I originally lived in Manhattan then bought a house in Brooklyn. I used to walk the streets at all hours of the night. Played chess until the early morning in the Village. Got drunk and closed bars. Always felt the city belonged to me.

Note: I walked the streets, but I wasn't a street walker. :)

And Cadoras says he rants.

We're always looking at other places. Someone here has itchy feet and doesn't like spending to long in one place.
I don't mind the ranting a bit

LMAO
We stayed on 7thAve & 55th twice
and W42nd and 10th the other time
both within easy walking distance of Times Square, which is awesome, especially at night.

I would love to go and see the places that you always hear about on movies and such.

Would that someone be you? Or someone else? :)

I will try to limit my ranting.... I just tend to talk too much sometimes...

Someone else although it's effect rubs off on me sometimes.
Don't worry about it. I talk too much also.

And you would need to try those little neighborhood restaurants. Don't have many near where I am. Mostly the chains.

I can see how it might... Hard to resist that urge sometimes :)

I guess we're both bad.....

Yes. Awesome. When I was there it was a little seedier with places like Circus World offering three floors of movies, live sex shows, and live girls in booths. Not that I would know too much about it though.

I might be visiting NY eventually..... It's on my list of possibilities....

Yes it is. He had me almost convinced that I wanted to move to the Yukon once. I'm so glad it didn't work out though because it would have been damn cold in the winter.
He talks about Mexico sometimes and that seems a little better.

You couldn't have recognized me! I had on a false moustache and that old raincoat. Oh, wait, you've never been to NYC. Phew.

Hope you get there. Let me know what you're interested in and maybe I can give you some tips.

Hehehe no, but now next time I see a trenchcoat I'm going to wonder.

I agree, unfortunately that is one place he doesn't want to go.
