Video Games

Oh oh my bad. I thought it was a kind of pseudo slang for $60. One thing that people say about gaming which irritates me is that games only cost $60 and that always makes me want to slam my head against the wall. Games are more than $60 if you include all the costs for one game.

My bad. My bad. Nah, I've never seen Battlestar: Galactica. Maybe if you would have said roll the D6. :D

Does anyone even use D6's anymore? I so miss WestEnd Games D6 system.

If you like Sci-Fi or Action/Military, or great drama then check out BSG!

Uhm Not that I know of... I think Baldur's Gate proved that gamers will cheat a D6 roll by rerolling until they get what they want. Also, you can set the difficulty of the game to Easy during leveling up to get a guaranteed max HP upgrade instead of letting the roll dictate the outcome. So, games like Fallout and TES has taken on a more consistent form of rolling characters.

The Binding of Isaac is the only recent game I know of that uses a D6 and it's more of a perk.

Starting FO4 while high has made me realize just how fucked up and depressing this story actually is.
I'd search for my missing son for eternity if I were in her shoes, too. I mean, I guess I kinda am.
I know I am going to die a trillion times before I find him. :(

I'd die a million times before I'd ever let you go.
I'd die a billion times before you'd even know.
I'd die a trillion times before I'd ever let you go.
Come on and bleed me dry.

I'll be honest, I don't think Bethesda put that much work into the story. I mean, I can make the argument why but it's really just my opinion.

Go ahead. I mean, it's not the most amazing story ever told in a video game, but it is entertaining enough to where I enjoy playing. I'll tell you right now that I pretty much hate every single faction in the game, especially those military zeppelin jerks.

Well first of all, have you completed the story?

And yeah, the Brotherhood of Steel is stupid. I have never really liked them except maybe in FO1. They help you out a lot in the first game, and it seems more genuine

Railroad - dumb

Institute - dumb

Minutemen - Unbelievably dumb

I hated them all so much that the Institute seemed legit.

I haven't finished it yet.

But listen, Another settlement needs our help...

This is very true, but we'll also probably think we know everything, so we'll be like the old version of teenagers lol. Should be interesting for those of us that end up in nursing homes and insist on making sure our xbox live account stays active.

lol I'm sorry. I think we're going to be amazing old people. We're going to hate and complain about EVERYTHING! 😎 yeeeah. *high five*

As someone who is already old I agree with this. You damn kids have already made me hate and complain about everything!

;)

I have often wondered about that. Though, in all likelihood, something will have replaced online connections they way we think of it now, but what if we all are in facilities, but only interact over the internet.

Would that be better for everyone?!?

God... I bet nursing homes in the future will be giant video game centers.

You see nursing homes nowadays that just seem so boring and dull, but that's because they didn't have video games growing up. I bet it'll be fun... all of those wrinkled dorito-dust covered fingers passing around a controller when their turn is up.

You obviously haven't been to the active living communities!

If you haven't beaten Fallout 4, your thoughts may change. The ending is really stupid. Bethesda really tried hard to create this deep, thought-provoking story but it turned out to be a terrible story.

If they hadn't committed themselves to a voice actor, it could have been better.

Also, there are some interesting surprises there if you look hard enough. Are you familiar with Deacon's secret? If not, it's really funny when you realize it.

Sorry, I'm not as old as you, so no, I haven't. ;););)

No, I am not familiar with it. I am not going to google it for two reasons. 1) I don't want to spoil it for myself, and 2) I'm afraid of it turning into another lemon party incident.

It's awesome. Haha

It is hard being an old man in a young person's world. :(

No, it means I was attempting to flirt with Elsie :)

I fully plan on buying FO4 whenever the Ultimate Edition comes out and it is under 30 bucks!

Just. buy. it. Ask your local Gamestop if they have any used copies if you're so adamant on playing on your peasantbox. I would never ever play a game by Bethesda on a console, though. While mods are available on console, a lot of important mods are not available on console. My favorite one is "immortal cats." I was pretty upset when one of the settlements had a kitty that ended up dying during a raid on that settlement. I did my best to hover it over to a bed and laid a lantern next to it. I remember putting myself in harms way to draw fire the opposite way just so any stray fire wouldn't hit it, then one of them decided to throw a grenade and ruined my efforts. So that mod fixed that for me. Now they can walk through a nuke going off right next to them and be 'whatever' about it.

Damn Elsie just dropped the hammer. Holy shit, home girl!

Spin, if it works out, you may have to be the sub in that relationship. :D

JK ELSIE JK =P

*dabs in a circle around you* keep up. i bet you're stuck in the macarena days.

I have no problem watching you dance ;)

I have waited this long. I don't mind waiting a bit longer. Patience is a virtue. :)

I really don't have the time to play multiple games with work, dating, personal ads, friends, volunteering, trying to find a new job, reading, watching all the various nerdish TV shows, and trying to get some of my own writing done. Trying to fit in another game between Skyrim and ST:O isn't in the plans.

Plus, I'll have something to look forward to when I am done with the above

but I won't argue with one of the Master Race. We all bow down before you and your LED lights and liquid cooled processors!
