I need to get a PS3 so I can play Heavy Rain again. I borrowed my best friend's console and his copy of the game and I was addicted. I had never been so engrossed in a game's storyline before. It is definitely a must own title for the system. I loved it so much, I bought the game off of him even though I don't have a PS3!

It hasn't been confirmed yet but I'm pretty sure that's what Microsoft is going to announce at E3 next month. I wouldn't be surprised if they announced a handheld console to go along with it.

Oh yes...what I am hearing has me concerned though.

1. No second hand games will work.
2. Xbox360 games will not work

And the worrying one
3. Xbox720 MUST be constantly connected to the internet for it to work.

Microsoft are doing a big reveal at E3 this year so let's hope all the above is inaccurate but there isn't smoke without fire.

I honestly believe if Microsoft follows through with these rumors, they're in for a huge awakening. Second hand games are a MAJOR part of the industry. Plus, not everyone has an internet connection. The backlash they're going to receive if all this is true will be unreal.

okay... admitting now that I'm not playing anything that has been mentioned so far. ummm... I have an Atari 2600 and 200ish games, an Atari 5200 with about a dozen games, and a Sega Genesis with about the same. Yeah, I'm all retro/ old school here. Space Invaders and Asteroids for everyone! lol

Husband is a big gamer though and he's one for first person shooter types like Black Ops.

Apparently its the game makers that want the second hand rule the most. They loose money every time a game is traded then sold cheaper (0 profit for them). Bring in the rule then any game sold even if it is at bargain sale prices will still produce some profit for them.

I endorse BioShock an extremely enjoyable romp, fantastic visuals and decent AI in the enemy. Get it on EBay cheap nowadays do it before Microsoft enforce the new rule on the 360

I'm so excited to get my hands on Animal Crossing New Leaf next month! City Folk was a huge disappointment but from what I've seen of New Leaf, it looks to be the best Animal Crossing yet!

I liked Dante's inferno but could not shake the feeling I was playing Ninja Gaiden. Really like having the demos free and at hand on the xbox I don't always trust reviews so to actually try a game out yourself without having to spend money is well worth it.

Case in point, war hammer 40,000 got really good reviews so I tried the demo and it really disappointed me, only good thing out of it was I dusted off my old tabletop warhammer game and admired my handy work at painting the tiny models.

Portal 2! I actually looked into getting a portal style tattoo today but I can't decide between a game tattoo, lord of the rings tattoo or a quote from a book. Or quotation marks. Or the Sylvanas flag from Warcraft.

Star Trek Online is free and uses micro-transactions, I'm afraid. That said, you don't really NEED to buy anything, as almost everything is eventually available (if you're willing to grind out the resources, of course).

It's a fantastic game, but it does have quite a few bugs due to the small development staff that remains after PWE bought it. Legacy of Romulus is adding a ton of new content and updates, however.

I may have to give ST a go this weekend. I have managed to steer clear of WoW for years and ST is the first Mmorg that has caught my eye, even star wars I have been hesitant with my geek senses have been tingling for too long I am going to have to give in soon.

I have no problems with grinding did plenty of that with Skyrim.

I love the FF games. You should give portal a try, it's fantastic. But addictive.

Really enjoyed the FF games and 7 & 8 are up there with the best. I just really fell out of love with them after that. A lot of style not much substance a real pity.

sheeeeiiiiit, i can't remember when was the last time i played ninja gaiden lol. i played it for nintendo.. so you can imagine how long was that. lol
