Here is your beloved ally France, at it again...
Boy Germany needs France like it needs a hole in the head. lol
But hey, they seem to share a common ideology and mutual disdain for a certain minority...

And pp_man would rather have the U.K. cozy up to them rather then to the US?
Go ahead and take them pp, we don't want need France.

The real Fourth Reich will be the European Union.

In a small tele-sales office near the Gare du Nord, gap year student Jonathan Taieb persuades another customer that his company should be listed in a new business directory.

But nothing, it seems, can persuade Jonathan to stay in the country where he was born and grew up.

He is part of the growing exodus of French Jews leaving for Israel.

"As a Jew I don't see any future for me in France," he said. "Just put on a skull cap in the street and see the reaction you get. While Muslim girls can wear veils and no-one says a word."

In a few weeks he will leave this office for the last time, pack his bags and head for Haifa university to study aeronautics.

Although he is a practising Jew, Jonathan is very different from the Orthodox Jews who have traditionally made the trip back to the Holy Land. This is a part of the reason why, in the past 12 months, the numbers leaving France have doubled.

Olivier Rafowicz runs a Jewish agency in Paris, which helps those who have made a similar choice to Jonathan. He says you cannot pinpoint a single reason why the phones began ringing off the hook last year, although he says it should not come as a surprise.

"Surprise will I think be a lie, we are living in the world and we are aware what is going on of course, in France Le Pen the last year, when he got to the second round of the elections, had a serous impact, and also the aftershock effect of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict."

Indeed the violence in the Middle East was seen as one of the reasons for a series of attacks on French synagogues last year. With Europe's largest Arab and Jewish communities, France is ever sensitive to the possibility of violence far away being reflected close to home.

And now after a relatively calm few months the malaise is creeping back.

At the weekend's anti-war demonstrations it was noticeable how many protesters sang anti-Israeli songs, while just a few weeks ago a liberal Rabbi in Paris was stabbed and had his car set on fire for reasons which remain obscure.

Roger Cukierman is head of the Crif, France's largest Jewish organisation.

Listening to Israeli music at home with his father, Jonathan says he is leaving this country with no regrets.

"I'm sad to say goodbye to my family and friends, but France, no. How can I be sad to leave a country which is without exaggeration, anti-Semitic?"

the pic you posted, is also the link you thought you posted. Click it yourself.

He's a young guy who witnessed a political change in France that was not a positive one.

(IMO)The anti-Israeli songs should not have been a part of the demonstration against war.

People are flying to Iraq to act as human shields as a form of protest.

This guy was born in France saying goodbye to his friends and family because he's no longer safe.

That's a shame.

How does this relate to Fri's opening statement?

I don't read Frimost's posts. He seems very Wolfowitz to me, I try to save time and picture him as an equally militant dork.

Yes it should-- http://www.townhall.com/columnists/robertnovak/rn20021226.shtml

One in the same are Sharon and GWB.

Normally I don't have a problem with Fri thread getting hijacked. You're spinning this from the original discussion without giving his a chance. Your links are serving some other purpose that is diverting from the original.

Why should a French Jew feel threatened about his rights disappearing?

After Hecat's broadside yesterday I'm surprised you've surfaced so soon...

lol

ok

well, I wanna see how this thread goes for a while.

That's the consequence that comes with the prime representative of his faith/ethnicity using the US military as a proxy force to hasten a war. I wanna do some traveling/moving to places that despise GWB (that's a lotta places), not safe to do it for a long while--at least I know enough to spread the blame. People I know voted for him--that's close enough--I should be blamed for the actions of that despot.

Fucking cheese eating surrender monkeys..

The attacks on the jews by Islamic immigrant motherfuckers has been going on for awhile there in the new reich. I hope France and Germany gets what they get, overwhelmed by pathos that will gradually seize power by not wearing swastikas, but carrying the Koran.

They're among friends: http://www.internationalanswer.org/uslim

Take out the redwave dialect.

It sounds like you're saying the US military is responsible for a bunch of frogs hating Jews.

Sharon plus GWB and his handlers are making Americans and Jews extremely unpopular. At some point, Americans and Jews should be deemed unpopular for electing militant leaders. In America we treat Muslims worse--they are to blame for bin Laden and Saddam. Hagel says--fighting a war for peace in the middle east is fighting fire with gasoline. I agree--provide concrete proof, then request a UN vote. Russia and China are more against the war than Saddam. Decades of fighting "containment wars" to gain favor with LDCs were for naught. I think GWB and Sharon want to create significant chaos so militant Iranians will attack American interests, then they'll capture Tehran. On down the line.

And I see you as a brainswashing moron who is a partisan apologist for all of the Liberal's mistakes and malfeasance but is a complete lock-step paranoid hypocrite when it comes to making unfounded allegations against Republicans and coming up with foolish conspiracy theories and libel.

I didn't read your articles, but I skimmed one....Hezbollah not our enemy? God you are dumb if you believe they are not, they were the ones responsible for the Marine Barracks bombing during 1983 in Lebanon that killed 218 U.S Marines, 18 U.S. sailors, 3 U.S. soldiers, 1 French paratrooper, and a Lebanese civilian!

You mean ultraconservative Robert Novak's article--

"In private conversation, National Security Adviser Condoleezza Rice has insisted that Hezbollah -- not al Qaeda -- is the world's most dangerous terrorist organization. How could that be, considering al Qaeda's global record of mass carnage?

In truth, Hezbollah is the world's most dangerous terrorist organization from Israel's standpoint. "

http://www.townhall.com/columnists/robertnovak/rn20021226.shtml

The feelings of Chuck Hagel and a host of other Republican senators are why I feel extra strong about my conclusions. Whitman and Ridge begging GWB for more support in domestic security is what I look at. There is no end game, there is no plan for Mid East democracy or peace, there is sparse consultation with the inspectors and congress, there is no money to fund it. This is a fight against Islam--with oil being our bonus, that is evidenced by GWB refusing to give pertinent info to the UN. He wants to discredit it to enact his plan.

Iraq is just the start---when extremists retaliate, Iran will fall next. This quickly becomes a 10+year occupation with terror strikes mixed in to drum up domestic military support. He doesn't think people see through that shit--it is pretty clear, to many here--to all abroad. I don't acknowledge his authority. I refuse to participate in it. Here are some numbers--over 50% think GWB is ill-advised about Iraq. Well over 50% are overweight and not fit for military duty, especially in the desert. Over 50% are female.

GWB and his handlers are rogues--do you expect people like Ishmael to suit up--I don't. We know all about Jazzy and Aquila. Cheyenne and Miles are worthless. GWB's economic and social stance tremendously alienates minorities---who is going to fight the wars that result from GWB's pre-emption? It'll throw countless countries to Russia and China's wings--I thought the Cold War was fought to do the opposite. Wolfowitz's desires for Cold War Deux won't float.
