Verrrrrrrryyyy Innnnnnnnnnnnteresting!

Heard in a doctors examination room a few years from now:

"Congratulations Ms. Baxter. You're pregnant. Would you prefer a boy or a girl?" :D

Ha! You were right in that other thread. Men are like light switches. Flick the switch and you get a guy. :D

I'll waiting for when the technology has advanced to:

"Congratulations, you're pregnant. Would you like an elf or a twi'lek? And will you be choosing the telepathy/mental mastery package or the Captain America special?"

Flip my switch and you get... to flip it again. ;)

To all those folks that have taken hormone therapy for years, or been hacked and slashed into some semblance of the opposite gender: Ya shoulda waited!...

What? You mean the fetus has some way of signaling the doctor and saying, "I'd really rather be a boy?":D

Wait for what, put off being born for five decades?

We do what we can with what we can get.

Didn't you see those itsy-bitsy semaphore flags in the last sonogram? They spelled B...O...Y. :D

I think by that time, gender would have already been decided. I understand that's one of the first characteristic to be determined. Besides that, nobody goes to the doctor to find out if she is pregnant or not. They already know, but they might want confirmation.

I was really picturing some sort of pill - gals, take this and grow the guy parts you've always wanted. Guys, take that pill and yer tits'll grow themselves, this pill will really knock your dick off....

But alas, I realize the story wasn't about that. Apologies if I offended, that certainly wasn't my intention.

Dude! No offense taken--it was funny :) and the puppy picture is too cute.

Ya, she is a cutie. "Munchie," The only name I could think of, and she likes it - sometimes helps me type. Sad thing is, it seems to me she's a better typist than I.

I do try to step lightly, what with all the commotion recently, trolls, and such...

I have a plot bunny waiting in the wings, in which sex change is something like that, so yeah :)

A world in which sex is a matter of choice? And changeable at will, from one to the other and back again? SciFi Channel porn, yeah!
I wrote that one back in 1976.

This one-- it's an experimental procedure, not so easy to perform. Gotta have some kind of kryptonite, if your gonna have a Superman...

Usually this is true, but sometimes women don't even suspect they're pregnant and the doctor gets to give them the good news. Hell, there's even been cases where women who had no idea they were pregnant ended up rushing to the hospital for unexplained pains only to be surprised when the doctor's say "Get ready to be a mommy."
