VENT: People Who Don't Listen

Don't you hate people who ask you questions and then don't listen to your answer?

I work with someone who does this day in and day out. It drives me absolutely insane. What is the purpose of asking a question if you don't intend to listen to the answer?

Sometimes I just choose to not answer to see if she even notices. Half the time she doesn't. The other half of the time I just restrain myself from the bitchslap she so justly deserves.

I can sympathize .. pretty damned annoying.

Something I learned in one of those lovely workplace motivation workshops......

Go to the bathroom - imagine your form of retribution (in your case - the bitch slap) and have a good silent scream.

That's supposed to ease your stress and make it better. Tell me if it works for you - frankly, I the imagery just made me itch for the bitch slap even more... oops.
