Things become clichéd because they are great at first.
That's a fantastic photo. The colour of the flower against the wall. The contrast of the red nails and green of the stalk and leaves.

In addition to what Wiggle said, the flow of color, from the dark, verdent green to the bloom, which also has whites, blending to the wall color makes a beautiful transition.
