I also take a lot of pictures, a lot of them in black and white, today with Nikon.

I am thinking of dumping everything in favor of a Leica.

I do love the eye you are developing for framing subjects.

I wish i was able to see the actual dynamic range in the pictures you posted.

I read where you're considering Leica. I too was considering the brand, in particular, the Monochrom, as I thought it was the only camera available that had a monochrome sensor only. That was when I found the Pentax mono; the only other available here. They are almost impossible to get now, I think I got one of the last three that I could find anywhere in Oz a month or so back.

The Leica was going to be rather expensive. $15,000 for the body ONLY....another $5000 for a basic Leica 35mm lens. This was much MUCH more than I wanted to spend. Maybe they're less expensive in Canada. The Pentax doesn't have the same cachet as the Leica but the difference between images [of the two] would be negligible to me. I'm absolutely delighted with the Pentax. The body, in comparison, was $3,500. I already have a couple of Pentax lenses and have ordered a 16 - 85mm for the new camera.

I did do my research when giving serious thought to the Leica...read many reviews as well as the mandatory YouTube clips. To my surprise, the Monochrom was not without its problems; rather large ones, for some people, while others had nothing but unqualified praise for the camera.

My understanding is that Leica made one of the best film cameras in the world but their transition to digital hasn't been without its problems. This is just my understanding from the general research I carried when comparing cameras. It is, of course, entirely subjective. I would no doubt be stoned to death by Leica aficionado's for blasphemy.

Anyhow, do your research well if you decide to go that way

The blasphemy comment made me chuckle, the disciples of Leica are akin to those of apple.

I also took a look at the OM-1. For me, what I noticed is that my street photography was less present the bigger the camera body got! So, I am leading towards smaller and lighter gear.

Looking forward to seeing more of your works, the 16-85, I am assuming will be for portraits.

The photos are beautiful, and needless to say, the subject is incredibly gorgeous!!! I'm honestly wondering, why can't we see your face anymore? As you know perfectly well, your face, your mischievous eyes, and your captivating smile are an essential part of your photos. Your naked body also creates an unforgettable photo. Now, in your latest photos, your face is completely invisible, and your body is often covered by T-shirts or sweaters. The two "presentation" photos of these nude photos are beautiful because they show you smiling and full of life, but in the photos where you're naked, your face is no longer visible. Why don't you let yourself be photographed while you show yourself to the world in all your splendor? You are a woman of incredible and unique beauty, you have a youthfulness within you that transmits the joy of life to all of us. This isn't meant as a criticism, but rather as an encouragement to have more fun while you're there doing the photo shoot. If you're not having fun, even those watching you won't have the desire to touch themselves with a goddess on earth. Just want to mention that we've been having trouble logging onto Discord; occasionally it goes okay but most of the time it doesn't go well.

Will sort it out when I get a chance but for now it will be the luck of the draw.

....yes will certainly use it for that purpose. It seems to be a good all round focal length for close and wide angle shots. Very versatile when tripping about.

Sad that it is, that's some pretty tasty looking gelato.
And hopefully the size difference is explained by perspective.... that's often been my excuse.

It's getting difficult to come up with new ways to express how good the photography is and how beautiful Vanessa is - but I'll keep trying! These shots somehow have a "romantic" feel, in terms of art, - not sure why, probably the relaxed feel , the white dress partially undone and what looks like a breezy sunny day. Anyway. really good to look Richard, glad you went retro and posted these
Vanessa, I was going to say you look at the peak of your beauty, but we all know from the more recent shots of you, you just get more gorgeous each time a new shot is posted.
