Vampire Nation (D-I 3)

Cooper walked in the thread with two of his best men, leaving the others outside. He only needed to look up to see Rez standing on a table in the back, causing a scene. "Red..skullss.....cut all you---rrr pussssyyy coated rich asses......we...fuck.'em all up."

Hearing Rez's rant, Cooper rushed past the bodyguard, who was occupied with his two men Cooper came in with. "Rez get off the damn table!!" Rez sluggishly turned his head to Cooper. "Fuck you man, oh wait ...Coop man!!! We gotta kick all their pussy asses man." Cooper looked around at the patrons, one wif of air told him he was surrounded by vampires and silver objects alike. Even though he wanted to burst into a rampage and gut them, he knew he was severely outnumbered and such an action would surely cost him dearly.

"Rez you stupid motherfucker get down!" The ranting lunatic lowered his head toward Cooper and answered just as a spoiled child would, "NO!" Cooper cracked his knuckles, Rez was starting to anger him and the rest of the crowd, who no doubt sensed Hyde by now. Cooper brought his fist back and swung at Rez, knocking him clear off the table. By now the other bouncers had rushed the table and grabbed Cooper. As the adrenaline started pumping, he started to feel Hyde awaken deep inside of him...

I just wanted to get out of this place as fast as possible. Something about the way that I had been asked to turn a young woman into a vampire was well beyond me. It was something that I didn't want to do- I wouldn't turn someone into the same as I was, the thing that I hated the most. I walked towards the door as fast as I could, bumping into a someone as I did. I looked down and saw that it was another young woman.

As soon as I helped her to her feet I walked to the door then out of the club. I didn't want to be in there right now- I needed to be somewhere else. As soon as I walked out of the club I turned and walked down the street, hoping to find somewhere where I could sit and think.

Sebastian

It was as we neared the club that we saw him, exiting suddenly and turning toward us. I reached over and took the girl's hand, causing her to stir from what seemed to be a dreamy daze. She looked at me and smiled. I smiled back, then mouthed the word "careful" to her and looked ahead to him again.
As he moved withina few feet of us, I stopped and held my ground, waiting for the man to notice us.

Devon

Devon rose from his seat at the bar, and smiled at the woman who had been staring at him... even going as far as to show her some fang.

Now, his attention was riveted on the fool in the back, standing on the table, and causing a scene. Finally, the opportunity for some blood.

He pushed people out of the way as he came up from behind the man.... no, not a man.... wolf? He was now on the floor, climbing to his feet. The bouncers were busy trying to control a particularly nasty friend of his...quite feral by his scent. How many more were there? He could smell at least one other.

His blood boiled at the question. He might not make it out alive after this.... and after living so long, that was one of the few things that made life worth living.

"Why don't you... how did you put it? Ahhhhh, yesssss. Fuck me up?"

The man turned toward him and started change. Devon smiled. The half-wolf lunged, but never had the chance. He definitely wasn't the brightest wolf in the pack... either that or he thought Devon was one of the young ones he sensed here. No matter.

Devon caught him by the throat, and grunted as he felt the creatures claws dig into his ribs. He nearly cursed himself for being sloppy before snapping the things neck. It was aminor injury, but one that should have never happened. He was rusty.

He only vaguely heard screams, and a commotion erupt nearby. His mind on the kill, exclusively.

He brought the body to his mouth while it was still alive, and sank his fangs into its throat, tearing into the carotid artery. Its blood assaulted him... so much stronger than a mere mortal.... so much power in it. He felt his heartbeat match the creatures for a moment, until death came for it, and he let it fall. Its strength coursed through his body, and he reared back his head and howled. Odd that.

The power he felt was intoxicating, even temporary as it was. He always felt stronger after a kill, but when the kill was supernatural, either vampire of werewolf, it was as if he inherited a part of there strength for a time. And he wanted more...

Alic

As soon as I hit the street I felt a calm come over me and wondered why it was that humans would want to be like us. Was it because of what they saw at the movies and television. They made the thought of being a vampire a romantic thing; made it look as if there was nothing in the world to worry about when you are turned.

What they didn't show were the restless days, wondering if it was going to be your last- wondering if some hunter was going to catch up with you when you are your weakest and stake your or cut off your head. Knowing that you can never again see the sunrise as it would kill you instantly if you did and the continuing hunger- the need to feed almost daily.

I turned and without even realizing it slammed my first into a wall. I opened my eyes and looked at the wall to see my fist in the brick wall. I stood there and looked at the wall for a second and wondered what I had just done it for- what was the point of it?

Sebastian

As the man passed, I looked to her, seeing her face looking back in question.
"We are very different, each one of us," i informed her. "To each his own is our way, but some believe we have a greater place in the world. That is why I have made you."
She nodded, but I could tell she'd hardly listened. All too soon, she would understand.
I led her inside the club, knowing our kind would be everywhere, and not all would be friendly.
It was all a matter of waiting to see what happened, then.

Cooper was halfway out the door when Rez became worm food. He screamed as the bouncer threw Cooper through the air, not caring what happened to the man. Perhaps that's why he didn't see when the back of Coopers skull hit the pavement.

He gasped in horror for a second before beginning to feel the coldness envelope him. With his men still inside and unable to get him immediate medical attention, it was uncertain if Cooper would survive or not.

Nikki watched the man get up and was completely entranced. Vampires were always facinating but this one held so much power and so well. He walked like a large cat stalking prey, with agility and ease. She seemed to be drawn to him and his little show of fang did nothing to chase her away. She stood up deciding it best that she leave when the commotion started. However when she saw it involved a half-wolf she froze in complete fear. It didn't matter that the wolf wasn't after her, or that the man she was so enraptured by took care of him with ease. The only thing that mattered was that it was there and it brought back the terrifying memories of that night. She shook her head in denial of the images that flashed behind her minds eye. She tried to shut it out but her night had been to stressful and she was just to tired. She closed her eyes trying to block out the wolfs image and just barely succeeding. When she opened them she heard the vampire howl and smile in satisfaction. She had an idea of what he felt. Her ex love had once explained the feeling of feeding off the supernatural and she suspected thats what this man felt. She also knew he would still be hungry. An image of him feeding off of her flashed through her minds eye and she blushed at the warmth that invaded her body. She really should get out of here, she was obviously to tired. She grabbed her cloak, slipped it back on and started towards the door.

I looked at the wall again and knew that there were better things that I could be doing than standing here. I turned away from the alley and after one more look at the wall shook my head then began to walk back towards the club. I knew it wasn't the best place to go but in there was my own kind and I felt safe.

When I neared the door to the club however I knew that it was a different story as I saw several people running out of it. I walked into the club and went in. As soon as I was inside the club I was shocked by the feeling of a pure blood vampire standing there. I turned this way and that then I saw him standing there with a woman that looked like she had recently been turned.

I walked over to them, my mind still on what was going on in the club. As soon as I stopped in front of him I was shocked by the power that I could feel emanating from him.
"My name is Alic Stewart and I give you my greetings this night."

Just then a sound came from the back of the club, causing me to look in that direction. I turned quickly back to the pure blood and wondered what he was going to say and what he was going to do to handle things here.

After about 20 minutes of laying in the cold outside of the club, Cooper managed to get to his feet, no thanks to the patrons who were entering and exiting the club. As he looked around, he discovered his gang had left him for dead, slipping into the night and forgetting about the crazy guy that used to lead them.

He wiped the blood from a gash just above his head as he trounced back into the club, intent on becoming a wolf and slashing the vampire to pieces. He was so angry that he could feel the long vain in his fore head feel like it was going to burst, that was his first indication that something was wrong. He would never feel this angry, he should start sprouting hair and fangs, letting Hyde take over. For some reason though, Hyde was no where to be seen.

There was no way he could survive a fight with a vampire if he couldn't call upon his wolfen half, but regardless Dez's killer had to pay. Changing his original plan, he casually walked into the club, hoping he still didn't smell like a were-beast, and would be ignored by the pure bloods.

Razor

Razor grinned as he looked at the three girls still in the car. Two of them crouched in terror in the back seat, including the one that had screamed at viewing his face. The girl in the front seat had finally opened the door and was trying to make a run for it. Razor grunted in laughter, as if she really thought she was going to get away. Razor put a finger to his mouth motioning the two girls in the car to silence as he loped after the runner.

He only let her get a hundred feet from the car, when he made his move. He pounced on her from the left after flanking her. The screams of her terror were a balm to his bloodthirsty soul. Two slices to her hamstring, and another to her achilles tendon brought this ones body to a standstill. "Stay here honey, I will be back later to have dinner with you. Or shall I say, have you for dinner. " Her screams in pain echoed nicely in his skull as he made his way back to the car.

Suprisingly, only one of the girls was left. The other must have had a surge of courage that he had not expected. He lifted his nose to the air, smelling her trail. "Damn it, I am too late. She will be in the city where she can get help by now. I have to make quick work of this one. " Razor leaned his face into the car, his teeth showing in a fearsome smile. "Come luv, time to pay the piper. If you had not screamed , I would have let you live. But I am sick and tired of that reaction, so you will balance the scales. "

He could hear noises coming from a distance that sounded like sirens. It seemed his lost lamb had found her way to safety and was bringing friends. The girl in the car turned to him and a wide grin appeared on her face. "Well, you animal , it looks like my friend has brought some people to come take care of you. I hope you die a horrible death. " Razor looks at the girl, suprised by her sudden show of spirit.

"Well thats ok little darling, I heal fast anyway. However, you wont be around to see it. " Flicking his arm faster than eyes could follow, a second grin appears on her body. A angry red line of blood appears on her throat as her lifeblood flows over the backseat of the car. " Well I hope honey, that this was your parents car that you made a mess of. " Quickly sniffing the air, Razor realizes that he does not have time to enjoy himself more with his kill. He runs off towards his hamstrung victim, suprising himself when he finds her still consious. "Ok luv, looks like you are the only entertainment for me this evening. Off we go. " Grabbing her by her long black hair, Razor drags her off into the woods, an ineffectual scream whispering out of her throat.

Devon locked eyes with the people in the bar. Most were screaming, but there were some looking on with mild curiosity. Some even with disdain.

Vampires.

He laughed. The bouncers had left him alone... most likely because of what he'd just done. there was a feral light in his eyes, and he pulsed with power. He almost wished someone would attack... Wolf, Vampire, human... no matter. he'd welcome them all.

His brain tried to tell him that the power he was feeling was misleading... that it would start to fade almost immediately, and would last no more than an hour. Wolf power was, after all, only good to a Werewolf. Even a Vampire as old as he could be killed... especially when the rush left him. There would be a few moments where he was vulnerable...

Enemies made now, might be dangerous later.

He stepped through the crowd, most of whom parted immediately, some of which stood there ground, for a moment. Most of them he merely grinned at... young ones trying to prove their mettle. He knew he could literally tear them to pieces. The others, however, were strong... possibly as strong or stronger than he... and only moved because they knew what coursed through his veins.

He was high with the power, and wanted to play. Maybe with a mortal? Where was that pretty young thing at the bar?

He sniffed at the air, and was able to make out her scent ovet the others. It wasn't clear... but it was strongest near the door. She left...

He headed to the door, to follow.

Nikki huddled in her cloak hurrying as fast as she could home without actually running. Oh why hadn't she invested in a car? Her house was on the outskirts of town and was a good 30 minutte walk and that was only if she made good time. She should have left earlier but that vampire had facinated her. The power she sensed from him was alluring. She shook her head, that power had been exactly what drew her to her old lover. Look where that had got her. She tensed when she heard howls in the distance. She really hated wolfs, especially the werewolf kind. She was just turning a corner when she felt someone watching her, and following her. She glanced around her but no one was in sight. The presence seemed familiar and instead of inciting fear it incited a strange sense of antisapation, even excitment. Cursing softly at her wayward feelings Nikki picked up the pace praying she would be home soon.

Devon

He slipped out the door warily. He could smell Werewolf in the air. Close. But obviously none were visible. Strange. He would have expected an all-out attack for the death of their comrade...

Just outside, there were other vampires... younger than he... and a few mortals. He ignored them. His senses instead straining for the familiar scent.

There.

He turned right down the street, and followed her scent, until eventually he found her. She was walking rather quickly, glancing behind her repeatedly. Odd. It was almost as if she knew he was here, which of course was impossible. He had been stalking prey for far too long. Then again, he had been asleep for a good long time... it was possible he was out of practice. He still had no idea how long he had slept. He would have to find out the year, soon.

He turned another corner, and slowed slightly. He had caught up to her faster than expected, and silently cursed himself for his sloppiness. He slid into the shadows, and watched....

Cameron Cronour

Cameron stood on the balcony of his hotel suite overlooking the city below him. He was supposedly in town to reearch the possibility of acquiring a percentage in a small technology company, that might just have the inside track on a next generation computer chip.

It was all bull-shit of course. Oh, he might by a stake in the compnay, he was always on the lookout to increase and diversify his holdings, but that wasn't the real reason he was here. He was here for them.

This city was crawling with them. Moreso than the norm for some reason. And he was here to fix that. With some help of course.

Caine was already down there, he knew, somewhere. Meeting a client, is what he said. Any additional funds brought into the cause by fulfilling contracts was good, but killing one of those diseased freaks was better. Besides... as long as he lived and breathed the Organisation would survive, and have plenty of money with which to do its work.

That was his gift. Sure he was a more than competent Hunter, but there were others who were far better, like Caine. The man was as deadly as they come, and could be cold as a rattlesnakes tail when needed. What Cameron had that they did not, was nearly limitless resources to fund there missions. It was polite fiction that they worked for him, but in reality, the assasins worked better when given great leeway to do there job. As a result, they did it well.

He stepped away from the balcony, and brushed his hand over the 9mm pistol he wore at his hip. It was filled with silver bullets of course, and was far from his only protection in the room. He reached for his cell phone, and dialed a number. he was forwarded to a voicemail immediately.

"Caine, I'm here," was all he said, and hung up. He would know how to reach him.

Cooper scratched the back of his head and wondered if he should just head home. Perhaps a good nights rest would help clear up things in the morning.

Nikki reached out with her senses and could feel something or someone nearby but only faintly. Obviously whoever was following her was good at it. Over her years as a witch she had developed a sixth sense for the supernatural. She could sense a vampire miles away if she tried. This one was so faint though that he indeed could be a mile away but she knew somehow he was alot closer then that. Should she confront him? Or run as fast as she could home. She didn't know wich would be better. Indecisive as usual Nikki decided just to continue on her way home and hope for the best.

Devon

He found himself fascinated. There was a certain pulse coming from the woman, one that he could not identify easily.

And just like that, the hunt changed. Curiosity, as always with him, won out over an after dinner snack.

He went up to the rooftops, moving with preternatural speed in a large circle. Anticipating her direction. Finally he found himself completely oposite from where he started. He jumped down to an alleyway, and waited. Minutes passed, while she came closer.

He stepped out of the alley, directly into her path.

"Good evening..."

Nikki gave a soft gasp taking an involuntary step back. It was the same vampire she had been facinated by in the club. Her gaze was gaurded as she watched him warily. She didn't sense any threat to her life so she stayed calm refusing to run. Besides that would be pointless, everyone knew vampires were faster then any mortal. She nodded at his greeting doing her best to keep her voice steady as she spoke. "Hello." she didn't know what else to say. She felt a strange sense of anticaption as she waited to see what he would do.

On Cooper's way home, a mac truck sped into him, killing him instantly. Cooper/Hyde was no more.
