Vaccine 'Passports'

Vaccine passports are not an issue which can be restricted or decided by the USA alone.

Many other countries will simply stick the un-vaccinated passenger straight back on the plane and refuse them entry.

In addition to that, the airlines to avoid extra costs, will insist on confirmation of vaccination before ticket purchase, because otherwise, they will be sued for causing any in-flight infection. That will affect domestic travel.

Essentially, Deplorables can bleat about their 'constitutional rights,' but only with their backsides firmly stuck to the tarmac.

I think the difference is that measles vaccines are required for public schools. What they’re talking about with Covid “passports” is much broader. Concerts, restaurants, sporting events, etc. IMO it would be a mistake for DeSantis to push for interfering with private business policies. Businesses can require shirts and shoes. They can do the same with vaccinations if they want. Doubt many will though. Floridians have been getting out, socializing, having fun, and losing their face diapers for some time now. Panic porn doesn’t sell there like it does in most other large coastal states.
