Vacation. You.

To anyone struggling with finding their place here, it is worth saying that this place is what you make it. Put assholes on iggy, take long breaks away like I do, only converse with the people who make you feel at home and, above all, don't pork anyone here. It will most likely end badly. Not always. But most of the time.

If you give people a shot here at friendship, you will also find there are some amazing, compassionate people here. There are also some really sleezy fucking people who make this a terrible place. Look for the compassionate people. Ignore the fuckwits. You will be so much better off. All of you.

i think the fact we got to know eachother first over several years before we even met in the flesh gave us a sound grounding. i fell in love with his mind before i even knew what he looked like. falling in love took us both by surprise since neither of us were looking.

No one going to the Ghost Ranch this year?

I think it's been years since the crazy assed spice players have been around, so the spices are probably stale at this point.
People always die, my vacation girl did in December. :(
I think I will take a couple days off and just drive along the river for a coule hundred miles. I am renewing my passport. Wanderlust is starting.
In the meanwhile starting around the 13 I am doing a staycanition to cath up of local stuff I missed.
 
The carpentry project at the cabin was completed on schedule over the Memorial Day weekend, and now, it's time to plan the next cabin project. The trip to Finland is upcoming.

I'm planning a trip to Middle Earth this afternoon after work.
