I get tjhe picture, there was time when I drank 1.5 gallons Coke a day. At this time I looked ver american.

Now I am in love with Charlotte, my espresso-machine. But u will never see me drinking plain coffee.

This Telefunken was bought from a PX store in Germany, along with our first television and other things. How does it sound to you that our first tv set was bought in '66? ;)

a little late....but in the scheme of things there wasn't much good on earlier; as there isn't now.............:D

we bought our first color to watch the landing on the moon...........

It was useless in Greece, tv only started in '69-'70 and it was only one army channel to start with. B&W of course :)

No, I was too young to even care. When I started caring, early 70ies, I mostly listened to our tape recorder and a few years later cassettes :D

my brother brought back a TIAC real to real from Phillipines.........68.......oh so you missed the wonderful world of eight trac before cassettes.....:D

eight tracs were an enclosed loop........first generation for cars.......they had a way of melting and binding.....................thank goodness for cassetes technology...

Yes I Googled and saw them, they don't ring a bell. But then our car only had a radio at the time :D

At least tapes you could fix when they broke, I had a cutter and the little adhesive tapes the manufacturer recommended :)
