You know that the PC crap didn't start in 2000. It didn't start in 1988 either...it has been instituted as a way of striking ideas as off limits so as not to have to defend a position but merely state it without debate.

You and LT both think that by merely screaming "wolf" or whatever code word is fashionable today that you have won a debate of some sort. It just isn't true but what you do accomplish is the equivalent of using a megaphone to drown out a man that is merely speaking, doesn't make you right it only makes you louder.

How does this differentiate him from irresponsible journalism of Fox News, or the rantings of Michael Savage, Ann Coulter, or the rest of your heroes?

LT, if you hadn't noticed....Savage, Rush, Coulter are NOT News agencies...they are COMMENTATOR'S...just like Moore is not a documentory film-maker...he is a commentator

They give OPINIONS of the days events or topics of our time. We expect them to give their slant on the days events.

Unfortunately people expect that their evening newscasts and programs are NOT opinion pieces, but they are.

Why has FoxNews become so popular? Because people think they are getting closer to the truth with them than Dan Rathers forged document blather.

For example, where is all the rejoicing on the evening news about the progress in Iraq? They wrote their own Constitution (it was a footnote in the news), the evening news says it is going to fail. It didn't and then it was going to fail when they voted on it, it passed resoundingly.

You'd think the news broadcasts would be pleased..we are closer to pulling out but no..they were pleased to report that this would cause a civil war and more deaths....

The bottom line is any good news from a republican administration will be met with naysaying and doubt and the slightest bad news will be gleefully reported and made into crisis proportions.

OTOH, while President Clinton was in office they couldn't wait to excuse any failure or make the slightest success into something to praise the heavens for.

Same as when Reagan was in office...same when Carter was in office...

But, you already knew that LT....talk about someone with their head in the sand.
