It is already July and I haven't planned my summer vacation. What are you people doing? Have you gone? Are you going? Where did you go?

Why don't you fly up to Vancouver, it's cooler up there, the mountains are beautiful and the natives are very, very friendly!

I'm headed for Tennessee to do some four wheeling in the mountains!! Camp out, grill steaks over an open fire, drink some beer, just veg out!

The first week of June I went camping and trail riding in southern Missouri.

I'm going to Chicago in August with my best friend for my birthday.

The whole family is going to either North Carolina or Boise for a week or two in September.

In October, I'm going back to the Ozarks for more camping and trail riding.

Instead of a vacation this summer, I'm packing up to leave NYC and head to the midwest this October to start a new chapter in my life with my omahaman!

Suggestions? If you like "cool" head north; if you like "heat", head south! When I had a job, I also liked saving vacation time to use during the winter holidays.

my vacation time

here it is only the second of july and i have about got my vacation time all tied up, i took a couple of days off to go to the indy 500, took another couple of days to go to the lake of the ozarks, and the rest will be probably spent later this month taking my wife to mayo clinic in rochester. so for much of a vacation i guess i will have to wait another year!!!
