VA friends

I just saw that. Unbelievable. Not sure how I feel about that…
Brian Daboll is a name some of the NFL insiders are floating as possible replacement. Another name that’s popped up is Davis Webb, a 30 year old QB coach with Denver. He’s very young but highly regarded in NFL circles and apparently is under consideration by a couple of teams in search of a head coach. He and Josh Allen are former teammates and good friends.

If there’s a relationship there, that may help them build more talent that complements Josh.

30 is pretty young for a HC though. Do you think he’s ready?

I really don’t know anything about Davis Webb until his name started popping up as someone the Raiders and another team was interviewing. His coaching resume is thin. Never been a coordinator or play caller, and if he does get a HC job, I believe he’d be the youngest in NFL history. Sean McVay was 30 when the Rams hired him as HC, but he was just a few weeks shy of 31.

I just saw an article with 10 potentials. No Davis Webb on that one.

Enjoy the nice weather while you can. Just walked my dog wearing shorts and a tee shirt in 52 degree weather that feels a lot warmer with the sun shining brightly and no wind. Hard to believe it’s gonna be snowing and 6 degrees in less than 48 hours.

As of last night they were calling for 8-14 inches in various parts of the Valley. We’re ready. One good thing it will certainly help to replenish the water table, rivers & lakes when it melts👍

It is very nice to see everyone chatting. Welcome 72. Firewood ready here also 58. Why am I not surprised a sexy sub is wishing for 20"....lol. These extremes are remarkable.
I hope everyone finds a snow lover.

Power still on in NoVA, but the freezing rain is coming…. 😢🌧️
Been sleeting here in the Staunton area since about 7:30am. Finally ended about 5:45pm here. So now we have a very hard crust on top of 6-7 inches of snow. Tough breaking a trail or two for our dog 🐶 😂. But No power issues. Everything is Closed for tomorrow & in some cases Tuesday. Could have been worse.Stay safe & warm👍

Looks like they stayed “ In House” Joe Brady got the job…. Only time will tell😂
Sometimes that’s the best option, sometimes it’s not. As a recovering OAKLAND Raiders fan who witnessed ownership destroy everything that once made that team great, I’ve seen both sides of the equation.

When the great John Madden retired, he left big shoes to fill. They settled for a low key receivers coach who once played quarterback named Tom Flores. It didn’t seem like an inspired choice, but the two Super Bowls that followed were pretty satisfying.

When Jon Gruden was railroaded by Roger Goodell, they named the special teams coach interim head coach. Under the circumstances, he did a good job holding the team together. Deserved consideration for permanent HC status. Instead they brought in Patriots offensive coordinator Josh McDaniel (who previously failed as a HC in Denver) and Pats front office dimwit Dave Ziegler. It was a train wreck.

Bills fans should chill a see how Brady does before passing judgement.
