It (editing the SAME document twice at the same time) probably would, I bet. But it’s a little like resting a running chainsaw on a wobbly stool. Bad things can happen! The safe thing to do is use the chainsaw to make all the legs on the stool the same length. THEN rest the chainsaw on it.I think with this technique you could even have two copies of the same file open. So each window could be scrolled to a different section of the document….
Shift-clicking for two word pads at the same time is perfectly safe. Just not the same document twice, it’s too easy to accidentally overlay one work in progress at of changes with the other.
