I have made a request for a thread title to be amended and a thread posted in the wrong section to be moved, but have had no response. Those that manage this forum seem to have all disappeared. Someone should check on them if the milk and mail is building up at their doors.

I think the only way is to cancel your existing account, set up a new account name.

That way, you would lose your scores and followers. I know one writer (long-time Lit-member with an impressive list of stories) whose name has been changed a few years ago. It might have been a special favor to this specific author, but I know it can be done.

Probably the best chance is by sending a pm to Laurel

It can be done, but Laurel is the only one who can do it.

You'll probably want to have a good reason why on hand when you ask. Obviously, since its a task that requires direct admin intervention, she's not going to want it to become commonplace every time someone decides they're just not happy with the name they originally chose.

Those requests are best handled by the moderator for the specific forum. Have you messaged them?

They're both in the visual arts corner but there doesn't seem to be a moderator for that section.
