Urgent help needed!

My computer is mulfunctioning big time.

It suddenly froze. I re-booted and got error message the 162 configuration change has occured (BIOS) even though I haven't done anything unusual.

I re-set the default values but doesn't seem to be working. It's affecting my connection rather badly.

It connects at all sort of speed as I was experiencing a few days ago. It cuts off unexpectedly too.

I'm at my wits end here.

Can anyone help?

162 is invalid config info.

Why does it have to do with battery?
