Method to set an automatic update/stream/notification when my favorite authors post an update???
Not necessarily opposed to scrolling through hundreds of new stories, just to see if my favs have updated, but...I'd rather not have to.
Thanks,
dbmsof

This question is probably better suited for the tech support thread at the top of the forums list.

Click your Lit Control Panel - seen at top right when logged into forum (or from story section click your profile icon select "My Home" from drop down) - form left menu select "My Home" and you will notice "Latest Activity" notifications which includes "My Authors Activity" "Latest Works" - you will see list of latest updates from the authors you follow.

If the date listed is newer than your last check then they have a new story.

Unfortunately, you can't get to the story side from here in the forums. Go here Literotica.com then click the first link at the bottom, in the list there. That will get you to the Authors Control Panel.

That is not correct Zeb - give it a try. Scroll to the top of this very page and click the "Lit Control Panel" button. One click later on "My Authors Activity" will display favorited authors with their latest activity listed by most recent date.

You can also go to the story section directly from the forum by clicking "Explore" in the top menu and selecting from drop down.

Update:
I just checked - if you have switched back to the Literotica Classic layout style (from "Style chooser" at very bottom of page) then "Lit Control Panel" and "Explore" buttons will not be available. They are available for User Default theme style and Literotica Modern theme style

No why would there be a button on one style and not the others?

??? The Classic Theme has a different header layout so maybe it just does not have the options available.

If you want those features in the Classic theme then ask for them at Lit Tech Support - but you could just switch to the User Default or Modern themes and they will be there.

I gather you are a bit of a geeky tech guy Zeb - you can use Chrome browser Stylebot extension to alter the appearance of the forums to your taste - though you can't add features. I use it to further darken the background of the pinned posts on the Modern theme so I can easily distinguish them from new/current threads.

On mobile devices the "Lit Control Panel" & "Explore" buttons are only represented by icons.

Yep, I'm kind of a "geeky" tech guy and I wouldn't use Chrome if my life depended on it. I would also advise anyone else out there not to use it as it reports back to Google everything you do.
