With specificity, explain how mid-easterners are racially differentiated from any other Mediterranean group? The entire concept is preposterous.
Like trying to differentiate the Jews of Israel from the the Arabs, they're both of Semitic stock.

If things continue on this path I expect the democrats to racially differentiate themselves from republicans. And quite frankly that is exactly the political path they're taking.

Adding to that: before there were so many of them, many europeans harboured no hostility towards reffugees; on the contrary. That changed however, when they started to worry about the potential strain on their economy and their own financial situation. Among other things.

That's not how racists behave. Anybody -regardless of colour or religion- would have those concerns. It's just human nature: self-preservation trumps altruism.
But labeling them as "racists" is more convenient.

Now I ask you how refugee's would effect financial 'well being?' Doing the same job for less remuneration? I can see that.

Increasing taxes to support the "social safety nets" in place. I can see that as well.

What do these 'refugee's' bring to the nation as a whole, no matter their race or creed? The answer to that question depends wholly on politics. I look at the NZ immigration laws, and exceptions, and I wonder how any one from that nation dare to open their mouth about US laws and the enforcement, of non-enforcement, thereof. Or the Canadians as well.

All soft and cuddly in their own little cocoon attempting to take the moral high ground by cri9ticizing others. You take care of your shit to the best of your ability and let us take care of ours,
