North Carolina cop found dead at home killed wife in murder-suicide: Officials​

A North Carolina police officer shot and killed his wife before turning the gun on himself, state authorities updated Wednesday amid an investigation into their deaths.




As soon as this story broke a day or two back, I knew what it was all about. This is not the first of these cases. There has been a growing number of them in recent years.

Not at all unprecedented. I know of a case where a cop killed his post partum wife by shooting her in the back four times with his service weapon before committing suicide. Her two week old baby was orphaned. They buried him with full police honors as if he had been murdered by a criminal. It was humiliating obvious that the husband was not the father. The prime suspect was the chief of police.
