Actually sweet, I was talking about the male being more likely to get an infection through anal sex. Not the female. The bacteria from fecal matter being pushed up his urethra.

Women can get infections from vaginal sex, yes, but ecoli from fecal matter can become a very dangerous bladder infection and eventually get into the bloodstream. Believe me, thats not good.

Oh, and Im not a doctor either, just the daughter of a nurse, and grand daughter of a Pharmacist

I wonder if "flushing the lines" for men after sex could have the same helpful effect? I'll bet it wouldn't hurt.

My mom's a nurse, too. I never got to stay home from school by playing sick. She always knew better. No fair!!!

so Emerald_eye, do you think the whole idea of flushing out the system(drinking water and peeing right afterwards) should eliminate risk of infection and clean out any fecal matter that gets up there('there' being the male urethra)? if anyone else knows feel free to chime in
