I am tired and in an odd mood so I am gunna barge in with my two-penneth worth:
I don't agree that you need lots of posts but you do need some 'real' info in your bio that reflects your personality/humour. You may get lucky sometimes without it but you would increase your chances of getting women to chat if they have SOME idea of what is coming at them
If you are after 1:1 personal chat with a lady then you should write an Ad in the Personals - this thread is more for sticking around and chatting (a great way to get yourself out there).
It is soooo easy to say "don't be a dick" - what I may find offensive and dick-like behaviour is not another woman's version so simply be yourself.

Sadly doesnt usually work like that. Most of the Uk ladies that have been here a while are weary of dickheads. There's a lot of dickheads that lurk around here.
So get some posts under your belt, there's quite a lot of games on here that will get your postcount up quickly. And then get an AV, preferably one that doesnt have your penis in it. And above all, try not to be a penis
and in time, the ladies will chat freely
