I don't expect you to lay down a framework of what I, or anyone else, may or may not post anywhere, and you may be absolutely sure that it have neither interest in, nor intent to circumscribe what you or anyone else may post here, or anywhere. If we can't respect one another as freewill beings, what's the point?

I think I am right in saying that I am like you in some respects (flirting aside - can't help it, its a curse my fingers are under). I would like more good topics to talk about but the General Board is not my place either. I am sticking here - where people are friendly and (I think) without agenda!
Weather bores me silly but for some it is a useful springboard if they are not sure what else to say - unlike me where I can drone on about all sorts haha.

I'd love to see more people say hi and stay to chat on here :D

am beginning to feel normal again - but the universe is determined to keep me busy busy busy at the moment. I shall make more effort to come back - even if I have set my alarm at 3am to do so. Well, maybe I am not THAT committed - but ya get my drift :D
 
Being on the Playground, it can get quite boring just to play all the threads and not have conversations. I know that is one of the reason I go over the GB at times, and one of the reasons I got into writing SRPs...because I was bored!

It's also one of the reasons I come to this thread at times, and over the other UK thread, just to chat and say hello to people, talk about things, not just "yes, I'd kiss him, shower, etc".

I know that the SRP thread has a Lounge, and I'm not quite sure what it's for. Other places have Cafe's...and it seems that they are more suited for starting a thread that is just there to chat and have friends stop by.

I started my "hideout" in the SRP Lounge, it is where I can list all my current SRPs without have a long signature block. But, I have friends that stop in and we chat chat about whatever we want to chat about!
 
Well I promised myself I wouldn't talk about the weather but it's snowing. I'm so tempted to run downstairs, pull on my wellies and dig my sledge out of the cellar but I keep telling myself, I'm 27, not 7... And I don't have any wellies... or a sledge... *cough*

Well, I'm going to call it a night shortly. I decided to have an evening of reading some Lit stories and I'm pretty much cross-eyed now.

TO be honest I didn't see the post that stated the thread was now closed, and I rarely enter the playground area of the forums...

I stumbled on this thread by looking at some one'e recent posts from their profile page....

Barefoot, like you I rarely venture into the playground. The SRP's lounge is also a tad weird but I ought to spend more time in there...

I also need to review my ramblings thread and keep it up to date and reduce my signature file, as it is over time getting bigger!!

Any ideas/suggestions :)

Good morning, just waking up and saying Hello to fellow UKers.

It is good to have a thread like this to drop into for some relaxed and friendly chat.
 
Hi everyone, hope we're all well this fine spring/summer/autumn/winter (delete as applicable where you are) day!! So far, we've had sun, snow, hail, sun, sleet, wind, more hail, and now it's settled down to cold grey and windy. And it's only lunchtime :eek:. Oh well.

The thing I like about this thread, and UK kink for that matter, is the way it meanders around from flirting, to mild humour, to serious issues, to stuff going on in our RL's, to whatever somebody throws in next. You never quite know where it'll be headed tomorrow. It's sort of like being out in the pub with your mates, a simple conversation could lead anywhere. And the people here are fantastic :D

YAY!!! Made it to Friday evening!!! Am alive - have good friends - have enough money in the bank to maybe convince hubby to buy a takeaway tonight - and I do believe I have a bottle of rum hiding in my cupboard somewhere :D

LOL - erm... well that is NOT how I would have imagined how you would like to spend your spare time - but hey - am not one to judge :D

Hmmm. Wait. I actually envisaged the maypole with ribbons etc - I did not twist it into anything else. Shit. Does this mean I am frigging old and yearn for innocent times or am I losing my edge? :(
